So there is a site map! I was trying to get there from my iPhone but couldn't find it. I see now that it's linked from the homepage.

Hey Mika, feel free to reply here if that one isn't working. I usually browse through new threads in the forums in the morning as I have my coffee.
I wasn't, now I am, then I won't be anymore.

This event
Post a General Forum Message (undo) showed up in my reputation history. I'm a little confused about what the signficance of undo is. It sounds similar to delete, though I'm pretty sure I've not deleted any of my posts. Just curious as well, since the time of the event corresponds to when I was browsing through a bunch of Lounge posts.

It means that one of your messages was removed. Let's say you posted a message as part of a thread that was known to be posted in the incorrect forum and the original poster had been asked, politely, many times to refrain, but insisted on pursuing the issue and so (to continue the hypothetical) the entire thread was deleted because a certain admin has no more patience. In this situation you would see a reversal of points due to the entire thread being sent were it belonged.

Thanks, Chris. Your explanation has turned on a very shiny bright light.

We often see comments that are related to some Tip/Trick where OP is trying to reach author by posting an alternate to Tip.
For such alternates, we should have a new category like 'Not an Alternate', 'Comment to Tip', or something else that suits it.
Sample question found today:Reported as Unclear for now[^].
Possible?

Several times I have posted a response in the wrong place because of the reply/comment dichotomy. Maybe someone can make it idiot-proof (or Hans-proof ).

There should be a "wrong type ..." report option now.

Wrong type (Tip, Blog, Article)... will this option do?
It's still looks confusing. This option looks like more of either of 3. How would this option be treated as not a tip but a comment?

If you report it, someone will see it and take care of it. You don't have to be 100% thorough in your reporting. We'll usually work it out.

We often see questions that are related to some article and OP is trying to reach author to get some answer.
For such questions, we should have a new category like 'Wrong Section', 'Article Question', or something else that suits it.

ie 'report this article as being an attempt to advertise a commercial product' or such

That used to be one of the categories. I'm not sure why it was removed.

"Inappropriate" should cover that, or "spam" if it's blatant.
