I thinnk we all say that every time a new version of Visual Studio comes out, too, and EVERY time, Microsoft shows us just how sucky it can be.

I'm so over IE.
I made a change to fix a weirdness that was happening with IE8 and below. It all looked fine for everything I checked except for the comments in articles in IE9. I've rolled back the fix and will apply a fix to the fix to fix the bloody thing another way.
It all just works so seamlessly in every other browser under the sun.

OK - I've fixed the fix. How is it for you?

Thank you!

When you get to a certain length of comments (not sure exactly what length) it switches to a paged view, with "page 1 of 2". If you look at page two, the only message on it is the last message of page 1... I.e. it didn't need to be two pages in the first place!
There is an example here[^] with SA's final comment on "big books" being both the last entry on page 1, and the only entry on page 2.

I thought I'd seen it there, but this is the first time I've had an exact page to offer as an example!

Sometimes, I feel to vote 2 points for an answer/question is too high (2/5) but voting only 1 point for it is too low (1/5).
I wish we could have a six scale of voting instead of a five scale of voting. If so I will choose 2 points (2/6) to vote for the answer without hesitating.
The more choices we have, the better it is!!!

How about an infinitely (well, pixel level) slider control instead?

OK! I like a slider, very smoothly and exactly! Haha!

If you cannot work a 5 point vote system, how will you handle a 20% more complicated one?

"Great idea!"
And while we are already doing some changes: I'd like to have alignment[^] from Dungeons & Dragons introduced to Codeproject. I'd consider myself being Neutral Evil[^].

I was just thinking "what a great April Fools prank that would have been" but then thought "what a great idea it is!" but then I read that the D&D v4 drops 4 of the alignments. Lame. Is it too hard for these poor GenY-ers to grapple with 9 concepts, some as difficult as "chaotic good".

More importantly, it was a 30-06 M1 Garand - a rifle that can definitely do the job in capable hands.

I propose a 2-inch circle where you select a point in the circle and whatever value is assigned to that point is what your vote is. To make it more interesting and fun, the point values are radomly assigned. At this point, it would easy for Chris to change the possible range of points, and even make it configurable in the user's profile. For instance, KingBox could set his range to be 1-65535 if he wanted to.

Actually we still have great hopes for our CodeProject.Framework.MindReader class and I think a solution that's easiest for everyone is to simply use it for submitting votes. It will save on clicks and UI real estate.
