Did you mean I have to accept the answers even when my problem hasn't been solved yet?
It's so GREAT! lol
I think in cases like mine, we should have a button "Set as unsolvable question" and when the askers do that, it means they don't hope to wait any more answers (it is too hard), but any others can try it. And sometimes the askers may want to know if there is someone has tried answering their question. Whenever the question is really solved, the askers should mark it as "Answered". Of course, the managers can do that, but I hope they should be sure for the correct answers, I mean when the askers accept an answer, it may not be completely correct, but when the managers accept an answer, it should be completely correct as a standard solution.
Thank you so much!

I've never had the pleasure meeting a manager that would fit that bill.

So maybe there should be a button "Set Manager As Stupid"?
|
|

Oh NO! Who can do it? If they were not managers themselves, they would be surely professional hackers!
I have just revised my problem, in fact I want to manage all my unsolved questions while I wait for helpful answers, of course, soon or later I will accept the answers, but when clicking "My posts" I only see a mix of my questions including both solved and unsolved ones, sometimes I can't remember what have been solved and what have not. I want to emphasize again that "I will surely accept some answer", yes I agree that I HAVE TO accept the answers but SOON or LATER I will surely do that, and in the meanwhile I want to know what haven't been solved!
Could you please revise my wish!
Thank you!

<edit>

It's a doozy. The forums are all hunky dory, but if you go to home[^], it all goes pear shaped.

Maybe he's just used to seeing things that are busted, and assumes that when he comes to CP, something is probably gonna be broken...
- just pokin' you in the ribs, of course. I didn't see anything wrong either.

I'm getting this[^]. It's the only part of the site this is happening.

OK. This is odd. If I view this in IE9, I get the page I showed. If I open it in Chrome, all is peachy. Bizarre.

This reminds me of the joke:
"Doctor, Doctor - when I touch my arm it hurts. When I touch my leg it hurts. When I touch my head it hurts. What's wrong?"
"You have a broken finger"
In all seriousness it could be that either IE is having (or had) DNS issues or hit a server just as I was updating it and is refusing to admit that it's all good now (ie caching the dead page). Also check which server (bottom of page, tiny writing). I've checked them all individually and they are all good.

Can't check the web server on the crapped out version because it's a crapped out version. Anyway, it's back to Chrome for me.

It looks like the page is defaulting to showing the Video Tab, which has no content............
All the other tabs are fine. Don't know why it shows the video tab, as I have never visited previously.

Web22. but now everything seams Okay. It wasn't Okay for like 5-8 mins for me at least.
Maybe it was one of the those infamous "caching" issues.

See below.
This is not the age of reason, this is the age of flummery, and the day of the devious approach. Reason’s gone into the backrooms where it works to devise means by which people can be induced to emote in the desired direction.

This is the same issue as reported by Luc. (#753). It's on our list, but another data point helps.

It proves the bug hasn't spontaneously fixed itself while Maunder and co are ignoring it.
