IF you really want I could try univoting them so their average drops enough to factor the 4's into the scoring again...
3x12=36
2x12=24
1x12=12
0x12=18

I am ok with my ratings going up; I am only worried about the loss of popularity

Strange! It shows 2 5 votes to it and the bars too are present for 5 but the total rating says '0/5'. Surely a bug!

We're in the middle of a site update. Expect weirdness for a few minutes.

It's stupid and pointless, can you convince FF4 that there's nothing there to lose?

Highly voted Q&A answers seem to change text color to red, making inline code almost indistinguishable from the rest of the text. Should we change the color of one or the other to maintain the readability of answers?

IMO, that existing pale green background is better one.

I'm with you on that one!

Yes, this has been bugging me too. I meant to fix it this week. It slipped my mind.

On similar lines, visited links and 5-voted links have the same (or very similar) colors. So sometimes you see a thread and you can't tell if a certain post is a visited post or a 5-rated one. Any way to fix that?

Pick a new colour for high voted.
They used to be red because, back in the '90s, red was for hot threads. You really need to say that in a Barry Manilow voice.
So yeah - maybe a change of colour to reflect 2011. Pastel Blue? Two tone with a reflective bottom half?

Uhm I meant the text color, not the background. A background color would be horrid.

How about now?

Looks good in my opinion!

Ah ah ah, so you are the originator of the green movement !
(I was just ranting in the Lounge about it being undistinguishable from grey and blue on my monitor, and I thought I'd look in SB&S).

The free tools forum has the 'good question' & 'bad question' voting links.
Wouldn't the normal '1-5' voting be better?
|
|
|
|
|
I think the free tools forum (which was a top-notch idea IMO!) might be better transferred wholesale to a Q&A format (even if the rep points gained are the same as the message board) though not as part of Q&A. That way posters can tag the tool under different categories, e.g. "text editor", "graphics" etc.

|

I don't. At least not until the Q&A format is fixed so it doesn't resemble the personal diary of Charles Manson.
