Comments aren't required. They were for a very brief time but it proved to produce more noise than value.

TCP/IP Chat Application Using C#[^]
if you look at the codes, the HTML tags are appearing as well, which makes the program codes hard to read.
here's an example:
<span class='cs-keyword'>public</span> IPAddress(<span class='cs-keyword'>long</span> address)
which makes the following code hard to read.
public IPAddress(long address)

That's a problem with the article itself. It needs to be edited to have the spurious fake tags removed. Just so you know, the problem is that the article has content like & in it which renders out so you can see the tag.

I have also face this problem...
My Reputation point is 6.8K+ in today's morning and now it showing 6.4K
means from the morning my reputation point will deducted and also not showing minus rating in point obtain table....(total reputation point)...

I'm either getting very good at finding these or there's something screwy going on with the points calculations.

There was a bug that I fixed this morning.
This weekend sees a full recalc to add some points we missed, and also to fix a discrepancy between cached and actual data.
There will be howling.

Oh dear: just lost points again: was over 112500, now down to 112390ish. Can you just double my rep points to take these fubars into future account?
Just went down again!!! Oh dear, feel like Benjamin Button...

People with over 100K shouldn't be allowed to complain about losing points...

I posted a comment here[^]. In the text for the comment I included "<pre>" as text. Over on my Reputation History page, in the grid where this comment is now displayed, the tags are being interpretated within the cell. It just looks really odd. Also, I'm using IE8.
