I couldn't find an answer for this, but I was wondering at what reputation level does a user gain the ability to delete other user's answers in the Q&A?
I'm asking because I noticed a few questions this morning where there is only 1 solution available today when there were at least 5 others the day before. The user who's answer happens to remain is new and very low reputation so I'm curious if they had the ability to do this, or if I'm just off my rocker today.
I wasn't, now I am, then I won't be anymore.

According to the FAQ[^] it's platinum.
The article was modified last summer, so it should be up to date. Except for the images, of course.

Thanks Griff. Not sure why I didn't see that. Must have been too early for my brain today.
Cheers.

I love how CP handles copy/paste for links. I haven't tried it with external ones, but for an article link, it showed the title instead of just the link. I assume this works for externals too.
Kudos Chris!

Additionally for internal CodeProject links the 'New Window' link can be done away with.

Why? I for one use the new window link quite often as I'm usually viewing the link contents as a resource and then closing the window again when I'm done.

Not really. I tend to open multiple tabs and prefer to use the new window (^) link.

Err, no. I use this feature all the time. In fact, I wish that the Insider forum posts used them more.

I always get to open the content in new window but using contextual menu options of the web browser.

I usually just CTRL+Click.

Doesn't really work on my tablet though.

Try pressing on the link for a second or two and maybe a menu will pop up that allows you to open in a new window (depending on the tablet).

Thank you. It only works for articles and questions. We intercept the URL, lookup the article or question, get the title, then sneak the title into the text you thought you were pasting.

Can't you expand that for other links to get the page title (i.e., bookmark name)?
|
|
|

I imagine it isn't as easy. For Code Project articles, all he has to do is use an ID in the URL and look up the title in the database. For external sites, he'd have to actually download the HTML and parse out the title.
So I imagine he can, but I also imagine it would be a pain and probably significantly slower depending on the site.

Maybe he can post it as a Friday question.

Hi
I can't fix the link to the file I've uploaded for the following article. I've tried with relative and absolute paths with no luck, the url is changed after editing the article

Can someone fix the link for me?
Thanks in advance
