Never say never, especially when you are talking about when bugs occur in software!

As I open various messages posted in the Lounge, I notice that the browser title changes to refelect the currently visible message. Here are a couple issues I noticed.
Titles are in the format "Message Title - - CodeProject". Seems like there may be something missing between those two dashes (or there is just an extra dash).
When a message is collapsed, might be a good idea to display "The Lounge" rather than the last message that was open.

I agree with the last part, and this[^] might be an acceptable alternative.
Not too sure about the dashes, maybe a crude attempt at an em/en dash?

I doubt it. There is a space between the dashes. If it were supposed to be an —, there wouldn't be a space.

Didn't see that.

Sometime in the past week the following got turned on in my profile
"Send me an e-mail if someone replies to the message"
I certainly didn't turn it on. I am not sure but the following was probably turned on as well
"Allow private email replies to the message"

thatraja has reported a similar issue and we're still trying to track it down.

Is there a good and/or proper forum for posting an available programming job?

Are you near Nashville, TN? Willing to relocate? (I'm not the hiring person, I'm just
quite involved in the process, so I don't know to what extent we'd help relocate.)

We had one many moons ago but we discontinued the service because we didn't have the resources at the time to dedicate towards making it as useful as we wanted.

We don't officially support IE6 but I'll try and get some spare time this weekend to dig in and see if I can find the issue.

I don't know if it's only me (or because I've just switched to Opera), but it seems like pasting links into a forum message no longer generates a clickable link code, it simply pastes as normal text...??!??

No it isn't just you. Opera could well be the one browser that really tries to implement the standards, however CP doesn't like Opera at all, and ignores all paste operations, which is quite unfortunate.

Really?
When the user initiates a paste operation, the implementation fires a clipboard event named paste. The event fires before any clipboard data is inserted
Here's a summary of Opera's support for Paste events: http://www.quirksmode.org/dom/events/cutcopypaste.html[^]. Note the big red "no" against Opera. Opera doesn't fire the standard Paste event which makes it difficult, if not impractical, to support.

interesting link.
It is too bad Opera doesn't support OnPaste event and the like. Have you talked to them?
You could still handle CTRL/V by processing OnKeyDown, couldn't you? (and that might work the same for all browsers)

You could switch back to an updated version of what you used before. Just a thought.

I used Firefox, but it seems to have some memory leak. It hogs a hell of a lot of memory, and often it freezes the whole computer for 10-15 seconds at a time. EXTREMELY annoying.
So I'm not too keen on that. On the other hand, I'm not perfectly satisfied with Opera either, but at least it doesn't freeze the computer.

I don't remember which browser does it, but I remember this happening a few times too. Nothing on my computer works (except for my mouse, I think) for about 15 seconds, then everything just starts working again. Very annoying.
