I am using Jquery to delete rows from gridview. I can get record ID but in order to hide a row I need to know row_id
$(this).parents("#.record"); . It's always empty. Why? my grid inside wizard control and masterpage.
... $("#.delterm").click(function () {
var record_id = $(this).attr("id");
var tr_id = $(this).parents("#.record");....

How would any of us know why it is empty? We cannot see your code. Just use "View Source" in the browser, check to find the correct ID, then use jQuery to find it using the correct ID.

Good for you. Now go away and research other career options. Something that doesn't require much thought or effort. You seem to be good at that.

Please do not ask for urgent help. It is rude. This is a volunteer site.
Have you tried using the datepicker control from the AjaxControlToolkit? Start with that since it is already built.

Use Simple AJAX Control Toolkit CalendarExtender control...and put the TargetControlProperty as the ID of TextBox where you need the Date

How a web page looks similar (web page contains div tags, css) in all browsers(e.g IE, CHROME etc)?
you need to program it such a way that it is compatible all main browsers
Is this a question? If you want your page to look similar in all browsers just follow standard HTML and CSS practices.

Is it possible to restrict the user from changing virtual directory name while installing a web application using a web setup?

A side point, your code should not care what the virtual directory name is so you may want to look at how you are doing things instead.

Quote: but this is a typical scenario.... What is? Restricting people from changing the directory name? It isn't in my experience. It may be in yours but I am not sure how to restrict that.
However, my point still stands, your code should not care what the virtual directory name is. Unless there is some real specific reason to, your code should reference paths using ~ for .net controls, etc.

It's been awhile, but in the properties some where (F4), you can turn off the virtual directory input so it doesn't show during installation.
But I don't see the point in that. Are you going to set it for them?
That installation program is old school and out of date, and only works with metadata and IIS 6 compatibility and management installed with IIS 7+.

At last I have found this. Just removing installation folder node from user interface editor will do this for us.
Thanks for your support.
