Why don't you opt for text-only emails? That way you won't have to deal with iframes and text mails are easier to read on a mobile device.

Ah okay. Thanks.
I just looked at a few pages and they look okay to me. The one thing that is a little annoying is you have the CP site header and then inside the iFrame the 3rd party site's header, so the article starts way down the screen. Maybe if you could thin out the CP header so the iFrame starts at around the 100th pixel position from the top, it woould look better. What do you think?

Oh it's better than that. I own a slider so I have to scroll to see not article but even link [Remove frame]. For me it's just redundant and annoying clutter.
For what it is for exactly? Title? It's in frame anyway. Summary? It's over link, and most of the times excatly same as first paragraph of the article. There are no ads to? So it's not for money? So what? Constant reminder? CP logo?
I am sorry for rant but I really do not see the point.

I'll second removing the frames and using text-based newsletters. The frames are one of those changes that adds nothing for the user - particularly if someone is reading it with a text-based browser (w3m).
Please rethink this.

Q19, Licensing Tools seems to be mandatory.
Not sure if this is a bug, it could, after all, be what you want, but I thought I'd report it in case.

...truncates the QA list page to the < character.
This message: Serverside alert problem[^]
Had the title:
Response.Write(), response filters, HttpModules, or server trace is enabled. Details: Error parsing near '<script language='ja'.
Which made the Quick Answers List page end after the < character - understandably.

I understand any single change on the filters/sort by fields on the Search Page automatically updates the search results, which I believe is an excellent feature. However, it can be quite a hassle for us who have slow internet connection to, for example, untick Questions/Answers, tick Articles, and then sort by Date Modified Desc. My suggestion is that, maybe we can just update the search results after the user has made some changes on the filters and clicked on the Search button. Or maybe we can have an additional button, say Update Filter, which works similarly to what we currently have in Q&A.

I'm thinking it would probably be nice if we have some functionality for authorized users to mark some questions as solved. This is for those questions that were unanswered but OP has acknowledged in their comments that they have solved the issues by themselves.

I think that is already there in another way,
Actually OP can answer his won question and himself can accept it. If the OP got solution for his own problem, that is better to post the solution as answer and accept it. It is useful for other who are facing the same problem.
Thanks

That's the ideal way, and I agree that some users are doing it. However, some do not just have the care to do it after they have solved their issue, and their questions stays on the unanswered bucket, when in fact, it was already solved.

If that is the case, how you are expecting them to mark as solved. If they really want to do that better to post the solution so that others can get help from the thread.
Thanks

It is not only a problem of OPs answering his own question, it is more a problem of OPs just don't accepting any of the solutions, because they don't even come back to the forum (answer is in notification).
There are really a lot of questions that have enough answer of enough quality to be marked as [solved]. I agree, that should be the task of the OP, but if we (I mean a group of people with enoguh reputation) can get ride of bad questions by reporting them... why not have a similar functionality to mark them as solved (let's say after 5 or 10 votes)?
That would keep the list of questions cleaner for those that filter solved questions.
Regards.

If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about?
Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you
Rating helpfull answers is nice, but saying thanks can be even nicer.

This sounds like a good idea to me. I know they are working on revamping the QA area, so maybe they will include a feature like that.
PS. Sorry for replying to an "old" thread, but I am going through the history, looking for messages like this.

Hi CP
Is there a way to print an entire conversation thread from the forums?
I'd love to be able to print out a bunch of threads (often with up to 20 postings) and read them at my leisure on the train home.

If you click the Print icon on an article then you can get to a view of the forum associated with the article that is print friendly (after a second click). However, print view for forums seems to be nicely busted.
I'll add this to the bug list.

I've added a print icon at the top of the forums that should now allow you to print whatever's currently showing on the page. It's not quite a "show me all messages in a thread regardless of how many messages there are and print it" type thing, since that could cause issues on very long threads.
Let me know if you need tweaks.

The following PRE tag contains , but it actually renders as a space (rather than ). It should only do that if I type .

There should be an option like:
1. Similar already published
2. Nothing new in it
Example, users publishing tip of 'how to send email' again and again.
