Don't delete his posts, just flag them as Abuse and reoprt it here. That way, others can read them and decide if he deserves an Abuse report on his membership.
If you just delete them, then no-one else can find them and make their own minds up, so his account lasts longer!

Thanks - but what concerned me was that he was writing an article (which wasn't approved) then quoting it as a press cutting, implying an endorsement by yourselves!

I didn't see his link to our site as an implicit endorsement - I saw it more as just a mention of an article on our site.
Regardless, that particular company's product has come up more and more and my patience has declined in turn.
