I'm using Wordpress 3.3.2 and DynamiX theme.I have a small alignment issue on my site. I need the following bit of CSS code to be applied only on iPhones and iPads.
#footer-wrap-inner{
width: 200% !important;
}
Can anyone please help me start from the scratch?
Any sort of help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance

For iPad:
@media only screen and (device-width: 768px) and (device-height: 1024px) and (-webkit-min-device-pixel-ratio: 1)
{
#footer-wrap-inner{
width: 200% !important;
}
} For iPhone
@media handheld, only screen and (max-device-width: 480px)
{
#footer-wrap-inner{
width: 200% !important;
}
}

Sorry Pete.. That doesn't seems to work. Can you please take a look at my site http://cloudchowk.com/future/[^]and help me?
You can see the footer misaligned only when viewed in iOS devices and emulators( ipad-emulator.org, iphone-emulator.org)..
Thanks though for coming forward to help me..

On this web page[^] they are using a font named intel-neo-font, which is not available on my machine but yet displays correctly. How is this done ? (@fontface ?)

What I see (with Firebug) is
font-family: "intel-neo-sans","tahoma","helvetica",sans-serif;
This is a list of preferences, so if you don't have intel-neo-sans , then your browser will use tahoma if it can, else helvetica and in the unlikely event you don't even have that, it'll find a generic sans-serif font (probably Arial in some form).

I do get the text displayed in intel-neo-sans . This font is however not installed on my machine, and I was wondering how they were achieving that.

Just hover the name in the css display of the FF Debugger, and it will be displayed.

That's not a sans-serif font (on my machine, anyway)! It shows a serif font, probably one of the Times family. I'm willing to bet that the page is rendered in Tahoma. [edit] that's wrong! - I found the @font-face . Which raises another mystery - Firebug doesn't "know about" that font for the hover preview. Chasing that becomes a tomorrow job (only a few minutes away! )

I want to know how to make sure my website is secure?
It's in ASP.NET with there levels authentication where user MUST enter his ID number, Password and a PIN number.
what else I should consider to have it more secure?

I have follwoing code.
I have 2 variables in the XML file that I am reading here, Item no and name.
Then I created a folder item_Name in the 3rd column of the page so that when I click it it should take me to the folder.
The file is in the root folder.
Can someone let me know whats wrong with following cell
<td>
<div>
<a href="{&URL1}_{&URL2}"><xsl:value-of select="Folder"/></a>
</div></td>
-----------here's the full code -------------------------------------------------
<xsl:stylesheet xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" version="1.0">

I like to submit a request to a web service and wait for the response. I have to give web service a page name where I should the response. <asp:button postbackurl="SomePage"" runat="server"> but I am unable to find any reference to PostBackUrl in MVC. In other word how are we going to deal with PostBackUrl or how we can provide return CallBack page?
|
|
|
|
|
Not clear on what are you trying to ask here. You start by requesting a webservice on one end and then ended up asking postback url in MVC. Please update your question and clearly specify about your work and need.
|
|
|
|
|
Well I send a SMS (message) through a service provider, where server provider is asking me the web address where to inform back for the result as a success or fail.
You may look complete example at (Working example and you play it to understand it)
http://www.w3schools.com/aspnet/showasp.asp?filename=demo_prop_webcontrol_button_postbackurl
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<body>
<form runat="server">
Name:<asp:textbox id="TextBox1" runat=Server />
<asp:button id="Button1" Text="Submit"
PostBackUrl="demo_postbackurl.aspx" runat="Server" />
</form>
</body>
</html>
As you see asp:button has property PostBackUrl, but as far as I know there is no button implementation under MVC3. The service provider only take web address as a PostBackUrl to return the status of the MSM call.
I hope I explained well. Thank you very much for the reply.

Hi, I have a problem, I don't know how to convert .dbf in FoxPro to MySql using PHP. Who can help me?

Gday, I dunno how to do it either.
But Google does! Entering your thread title (only) yielded 84,000 results. Presumably one of the first 10 will suffice?
Here you go: from+.dbf+FoxPro+to+MySql[^]
