It's one I just started last night.
I just tried it again and it let me re-upload the image. There were 2 images. I deleted one, but it still shows up in the URL list in the dialog for inserting the image in the article. I inserted the image, but it only shows a placeholder in the editor. The image does however show up in the preview.
I've thought of a couple of items to add to the project since last night so I doubt I'll be trying to upload anything else for a few days.

I think if you re-upload the same image name you may temporarily see two image files (one with a more current date next to it). You don't have to delete anything in this case.
If it gets too hairy in there please feel free to send images and HTML to submit[at]codeproject.com.
Thanks,

This article[^] was readable until I added a comment, and now the HTML seems to have had some sort of fit.

Thanks Richard. I calmed the HTML down.

Can we implement some feature of Notification ?
We are only notified through email, so we need to check email or the reputation change page time to time to know anything happened or not ...
While we are online on code project we can't know whether something happened or not.
On the top where username is displayed, we can add some images which will tell us about different unread notification in terms of counter....
I think it will be a cool feature ...

So just something that showed an icon when certain events occurred?
Which events?

The issue here is that these notifications would quickly swamp you. Getting notified each time a vote of bookmark occurs would immediately make the notification system noisy.
However, we'll consider a different, more subdued system.

Bring up a window that says "You have mail!".

Yes I agree with you Chris.
Thanks a lot for considering my idea.
So, hoping to see some cool feature related to this requirement...

Hi Chris,
Finally my suggestions are implemented.
And I can see the notification count coming at the top right corner.
But there is some bug. Currently I have no notifications as I have clicked on all 3 notification that were present before.
But it still shows count as 1 and when I hover on it, it extends one small white blank rectangle.
I think it is not updating correctly.
Thanks,
Tadit.

Yep - we still have an issue with counts being updated.

Might I suggest making notifications in "My Notifications" uppercase (in the page itself), similar to My Watched Items.

Sounds like a network issue between you and us, or maybe a server was recycling on our end (though not that likely at the time you posted this).
An option is to hit the "stop" button on your browser and then simply re-click the publish button.

Hi Chris,
Thanks for reply,After some observation i found the problem (which i believe) is due to the advertisments. I used to open the code project web site from my office network which has "Websense" to block many message boards. It seems some of the advertisements sources are blocked by websense. The problem is article submission wizard publish button script hangs up due to page load errors and it keeps on loading.I tried to clicking again and again but it never worked.I even tried with different browsers. The same problem exists is in settings save click. I can pin point like this because every thing works very fine in my tablet which use public ISP.

Here. Happens when I get to the tip/trick by viewing the old version and clicking the "view" updated version that hasn't been approved yet. If I use the permalink at the bottom of the page, then it shows the old version again with the normal forum.

This is because there is a published version of that article while there is a pending version. And since neither forum has updates, you're seeing double. Once that version is approved there will only be one forum.

You're too polite Sean. You should have just raised an eyebrow at him and said "did you read the explanations above each forum?".

Do you know, I didn't read those. Did they say "This is a bug an unplanned feature"?
