Same here, I think there should be a way to prevent this. There are some recognizable patterns:
- The user is new and starts to send a lot of messages, this can be limited
- The message is always the same (or may be only almost identical), this is not a real-life case, at least here in CP
- The user is shortly downvoted in several posts, this can be detected in a smaller amount of time, and all the posts hidden until evaluation

Too much work to link to 11 messages. I recommend people vote to remove the messages before they vote to remove the spammer. Or maybe we should put a suggestion to Chris to keep the messages list around after the account has been destroyed.
