Have you seen this[^] tutorial? It appears to be a complete overview. Telling us that it is "not working on my System" isn't really helpful for us. If you were to show us the relevant bits of code that appear not to be working for you, we would stand a much better chance of giving you a relevant answer.

Hi All,
ASP.Net AjaxToolkit MaskedEditExtender defaults to AM only when system time is between 12-1 PM
For system date and time other than between 12:01 PM to 1:00 PM it is working as expected:
Just key in the month and press “Tab” key and it fills rest of the part based on system date/time.

For system date and time between 12:01 PM to 1:00 PM it is NOT working as expected:
Key in month and press “Tab” key
The time displayed remains “AM” only. It should have changed to “PM” because System time is in PM. The issue exists only for 12-1.

Hi,
I am getting the below error when I try to show some textures in a WebGL canvas ( google chrome web browser).
"Uncaught Error: SECURITY_ERR: DOM Exception 18 ".
does anybody have a solution to fix this.... pls share it..

Nice to meet you, I'm developing a Fan Page and I need to validate when IT'S FAN and when IT ISN'T FAN. In better worlds when IT'S FAN it would show the text "Welcome" and when IT ISN'T FAN it would show the text "Make You A Fan", please you know how to do this?
It would be very helpful if you have an example code in Classic ASP.

You can get examples on storing a boolean on the internet. You will have to go through them, as I ain't interested in writing a customized example. If you are stuck in writing that code, post it here and we will answer any specific questions on the code. So, start with a blank classic ASP page, and try to store a boolean-flag.
..and please, don't highlight every other word. It makes the reading annoying, and it doesn't help much in communicating.

Hello,
I am taking part in an application development.
In this, we have a devise which have GPRS connectivity.From the devise,a request(in the form of a URL) will come to the webserver.
I have to design a website such that it receives that request and process it and sends back the response to that devise.
I am a beginner in web development area. I wolud like to know how that requset can be retrieved in my website and send the response back. Any referense material for learning to implemet these functionality.
I am using VB.Net.

Do you really want to develop a website for it? Is it a requirement? If not, you could go for a web service. It'll make things a lot easier.

Hi All,
Have a code which sends an Outlook mail using Javascript by creating an instance of ActiveX object.
I need the functionality to be such, when the user executes this code his default signature should also be added in the mail...Have tried it but to no avail..Any help would be highly appreciated...
The code goes as follows for the reference:

I would suggest asp.net to create your login system. It's fairly simple to setup and easy to learn.
W3Schools has a great tutorial.
If you are unfamiliar with asp.net they also have a more in-depth tutorial found here.

Use whatever you want but:
Use a hash system. Take a look at one similar question I posted time ago[^], which links to an interesting debate on that issue.
Easy to understand and with some interesting questions.

There are no "best way" Use a programming language you are familiar with. If you know PHP, use PHP, if you know ASP.net use it. But Dreamweaver? I don't think that's the best IDE for any language, but that's my opinion.
In ASP.NET there's a complete Membership setup ready in minutes. And it's secure! (using hashed passwords, password salt and are safe from sql-injections)
