If an error occurs while loading a file (happened to me with png file) you cannot attempt to load the same file merely because of the file name, even though it reported an error in the first attempt. You end up having to rename the file after each attempt.

A known and annoying issue. I will put this on the bug list.

Very annoying. I have seen similar issues on other websites, and one gave the error 'message' "Ummmmmmmmmmmmm..... It seems there was an error, and an error occurred in the error handler. This has not been a good day."
A short time later, the website went kaboom. All of the servers (60 I think) had crashed at the same instant, and most of the website data was lost. From what I found out, they were on Windows Server 2003, and it was 2011 when the crash happened. I think they upgraded after that.

When loading png files to an tip article (less than 640 pixels; significantly less than 1MB). Not sure why it's not allowing me to load it, as you can see the error is not very descriptive. Using IE9 (work pc).
[edit] Just tried a jpg of the same picture and it didn't work either.

Trying to make it short and sweet yet look good since I'm going to link it from another site for customer reference.

Just tried it from Firefox 14 and it worked from there...

Answers in QA are being displayed as if a dozen or more blank lines have been added to them. It makes for a lot of scrolling.
One of these days I'm going to think of a really clever signature.

Chris said that he would be posting a fix in a bit.
Why is common sense not common?
Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level where they are an expert.

Looks like it was a result of the recent site update. Code just took a while to spool up. Working fine for me now.

Firefox 14 works. For now.

Anything wrong when pasting "stuff" in the message of a new message ?
(both on firefox and chrome)
When asking a question in the "quick answers" section.
I trying to paste some code in the message area, and everything in the current browser page stop working.
I cannot type, I cannot click on the "Post Message" or "Cancel" button, I have to close the whole page (close button button on the tab area of the browser).
I cannot even select text, so I loose all that I have written.
In the C++ forum it is working as expected.
Max.
Watched code never compiles.
