I don't remember exactly what was that, but I checked a profile which was having this button just below profile picture. Then I check if my profile is having it. Yes, it had the same. I wondered why would I like to log off some other user. I could see that button on every profile. I just checked your profile Chris (mid=1) and clicked that button. Sorry, if you logged off from anywhere. Now that button is disappeared. It is not there even in my profile.
Can you tell me what was that? A bug?!

This 'button' appears on my profile page and any of the "Who's Who" listing pages. It seems that once you click it, it disappears though I've no idea what action may have been performed. It eventually shows up again when you start a new session back at CP (I think).

Browsing QA/unanswered, this post[^] is attributed to "Wes Aday posted 46 mins ago". That's far too dumb a question for someone of Wes' standing, and when I look at it, it isn't his.
I also notice from time to time questions with a blank poster/updater. I had put this down to HTML sanitisation (people with funny HTML in their names) but maybe it's all bent.

To add some more info...
It now has an answer, and so it is appearing in the "Active" tab. To the right of it, I see "updated 20 mins ago". All the other questions have a username preceeding that text (e.g., "mostwanted4 updated 10 mins ago"), but this question does not.

I posted similar question below:

That depends if you have 'Send me an e-mail if someone replies to the message' selected this setting under your settings->Forums.

This afternoon, I saw a blog post which was yet to be approved.
I searched for its title on Google. The first link in Google was the original blog and second was CodeProject's link pointing to the CP version of blog (which ofcourse says that it not published yet.)
If I log out of CP, I can not access the blog on CP anymore. But, why should Google list a unpublished blog. Shouldn't unpublished articles/blogs be blocked for search robots???

Which blog article? If the blog had been updated then the new version will be in pending, but the existing version will be viewable.
If you're not logged in you can't view pending articles. Maybe Google has secretly been logging in and racking up participant points? (OK, I'm joking).

I can kind of recreate this. In all of the past blogs that came up for approval, I could Google their content or title and come up with a CP hit as well as the original blog. The Google hit doesn't go directly to the article in my experiences though, rather it gives you a link to www.codeproject.com/script/Articles/BlogArticleList.aspx[^] and the preview text does show content from the blog needing approval. However, when I go there, I don't see the blog post listed (though I'm not about to go paging through all of them to find out). I can verify that these blogs being approved are new posts and not a pending update.

It would be nice if there was a "Clear all" option to click on the popup for notifications. That way we would not have to go to the notifications page and clear everything there.
Also, is there a way to disable the notifications, in our profile. That would be nice as well.
My reasoning, if I am getting the e-mails, then why need a notification also.
Thanks for rolling your eyes. Eye appreciate it.

I have tried with 4 different browsers to "login" to site using iPad. The "signout" link will "click" when you touch it (only in Safari since I have not logged in with other browsers yet) so you can logout but "signin" will not work. I am signed in using Safari, not sure how I did that?? but wanted to try other browsers and no luck. (Opera, Mercury, Chrome -- all on IOS iPad). Just fyi, adding to the discussion. This is the only thread I could find addressing issue.
