Since the recent interface update I've been using this site more on a tablet. One thing I noticed is that you can't use any of the popup menu's like 'home', 'articles', 'quick answers' in the top bar, because they are triggered by mouse hover and touchscreens can only generate clicks.
I personally never use the click-action on the items you have to hover over for a menu, so maybe it would be a good idea to change them so that the menu pops on both hover and click?
I think the site is used mostly from a PC (because you don't code on a tablet), so if a lot of people actually use the click-action you might want to ignore the minority who don't use the site with a mouse.

This has been on my TODO forever. A little javascript will convert the :hover and onclick actions to touchStart/touchEnd and then it'll work fine.
I read the site a lot on my iPad, so yes, it bugs me too.

To give vote,at first when i mouse over it,it hiddens for sometime,then after 2-3 seconds it is visible and then i give vote.I think it is time consuming.In previous version total and online member number,my account name,total reputation point and sign out links are colored as blue(now it is dark) which highlights user's attention easily,it think it should keep blue or such color which will highlight these.

Where? I assume you mean in the forums? Which browser are you using?
There's no need to wait to vote on the voting bar in forums. The transition from grey to blue is set at 100ms, not 2-3 seconds. Is your system generally slow, or is it only CodeProject that seems slow?

Hi Guys
IMO there seems to be too much vertical space between parent and child lists:

My wife keeps complaining that we don't have enough space home, and here everybody complains about too much space. Sometimes, the world is just plain wrong.
Plis I don't understand, there is not that much space here. <fading echo> space here ... space here ... space here ...</fading echo>

The spacing setting si not persisting. I have selected and then clicked on uodate, to no avail. Everytime I come back it has reset to relaxed. (Excellent feature, btw, really love the new look now that the spacing issue is resolved).

I get the same - Chrome 21.0.1180.89
(Bugger - it's updated itself again!)
Same in the latest version: 22.0.1229.79

1 This is a pre-block with linenumbers.
2 If it's part of an article, it gets replaced with spans.
3 The annoying part is that the span does not really replace it;
4 giving you an extra column with the linecount after every edit.
Meaning, if I edit my last article and update it (without changes), I'll get this;
1 1 This is a pre-block with linenumbers.
2 2 If it's part of an article, it gets replaced with spans.
3 3 The annoying part is that the span does not really replace it;
4 4 giving you an extra column with the linecount after every edit.

Does happen when you edit an article, but not in a forum-post (just tried it)

Every day I go through the articles, blogs, and tips that need approval and I review them. Since the update, the article links in this section do not change color after I have clicked on them. The blog and tip links still change color but the article ones do not. This makes it difficult to keep track of which articles I have reviewed and which ones I have not, especially when the author might have made a change and re-submitted it for review. Is this something that could be addressed? It isn't an urgent matter but it is something that takes time out of my day every day.
Thanks for all your hard work. The site does look really great.
