I've been getting some great help and suggestions and feedback about my code techniques/writing…
I find myself wanting to reply to everybody that has been helping me, but… I haven't found anywhere during my questions/Gen. discussions a link to do this…
I'm fairly new to code project, I replied one time trying to help a fellow… Apparently my reply went to someone who had replied on the question… This person wrote back to me and told me I have to click on the original posters reply Link, otherwise he will not receive/read it…
A little tedious, but… Make sense.
In my own questions/original post, it would be nice to be able to reply to everybody all at once that is helping.
Maybe the option is already there and I just don't know where it is?
Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Hi Rob,
I might need to see an example, but the way the notification system works is that if you reply to a specific thread, that author of that thread gets an email notification about it. If you're making a generic reply to everyone, starting a new thread or replying to your own might be ideal.
Thanks,

Can I make my question to appear without solutions? Because the solution answers different question than what asked.

The question appears only for you. Go to your questions, and log out. Then you don't longer will see the deleted question. If you log on, you'll see the deleted question. If you want to hide deleted posts, then click on the 'Show Only Publicly Available Posts' link.
Hope this helps.

I would add a section explaining when it would be more appropriate to comment on a question rather than submitting an answer.

Picture is more informative in many cases then describing a problem.

The Member reputation system page[^] says that you need to have a platinum Author, Authority, Editor or Organiser reputation to delete entries in Q&A.
But this article says that you need to have a platinum Author, Authority or Editor reputation to delete entries in Q&A. But not if you've platinum Organiser reputation.
What exactly is correct?

Good catch, thank you. The Member Reputation System is the hub of these kinds of updates and times have changed. The FAQ now reflects that.

I postes a question and was lucky to find the solution on my own later. So I posted it as a solution so that others can participate. This solution was deleted, I think because poster and solutioner were the same person. Then, for the first time, I discovered the "I've solved this myself!" button. So I cklicked it and posted the solution again and marked the question as solved.
Was this the right way? Because I do not see any tag at the solution that says something like "solved by the questioner".
Thx
Andy

"I've solved this myself" is indeed the button you use if that is the case. I suppose answering the question yourself might have confused members, but I don't believe answers to your own questions should be deleted.

I have seen many people pasting links from Google results as solution to questions, including top experts. In some cases, without the question being precise and not enough to provide a solution.
Have a look at this question:
Retrieve Image/Photo from SQL Database[^]
You can see my comments and the point that I am trying to make.
My only point is if links are just to give direction to the QP and doesn't answer his question, why aren't they posted as a "Comment or a Suggestion". That is what's been happening in most cases including top experts.
Thats certainly not right.
Please advise. Your interest will be appreciated.
Thanks
