I saw two more that had been spamming (I have RSS turned on for the QA area). The posts were deleted before I got to them, but here are the sinners:

I also gave the ones you listed a smack, but it seems they need a lot of hits these days. Yesterday I put one in the grave, but mine was report number 9...

I have discovered one of the ways in which users are garnering ridiculous Rep points in Q&A. See this[^] for a description of how.
The question is, they can't possibly just be doing it by accident, so do we ding them as abusive for using this strategy repetively, or do we just pretend it's not there and wait for Chris to do a recalc/cleanup of these dirty records?
I wasn't, now I am, then I won't be anymore.

Great catch Marcus. 5++
Now, based on what you share, surely it's not happening by mistake by so many people so many times. Once or twice is ok but.... though I will wait now for Chris response (since you have posted this thing in bugs & sugs) or else I would have gone along with you on dinging them as abusive.

You are right - it seems pretty suspicious.. But ask the Sugs'n'Bugs people before we nuke him.

I have not voted him yet... just wanted to share and have second thoughts.

Can't help but feel that there is just a bug somewhere in the rep system that is either giving multiple rep credits for individual items, or not removing points when users add then delete items. I'm sure that when Chris performs a recalc at some point there will be many surprised OPs voicing displeasure at their sudden rep demise.
In this case, the answers themselves seem to be a valid attempt at answering questions, so I don't currently view this OP as abusive.

Agree. Not now. Just need to see if it continues.

It seems to me this issue does not happen when using the system properly. The reason I say this, is because I do not see these massive jumps in points for those of you that post a lot of answers.
There is another member in the 24h top 5 with the same pattern. Is it just me or does it seem like their actual points have been multiplied by 10?
