How can this guy[^] have a gold status in participation without posting more than two messages in the chinese forums?

Nice catch.
They fixed a bug in the system about a month ago that could explain this. I have not seen any official post about this, so I don't know if that is the sort of thing they don't want to talk about.
For him to get that many points right around the time he signed up, he must have noticed the bug and exploited it.
My participation points are also inflated due to this - I don't remember by how much (maybe 600 points), but I figure they are going to correct it with one of their adjustments some day.

It's not an official post about this, but I posted this message that could explain the bug:

You are correct, but if you look at his profile, you will see that he has only been a member for 2 months. If you then look at the graph with his reputation history, it appears his points shot up to around 1600 on the first day.

I knew the page but somehow I messed it up with the debator section .
Sorry for that (But I still think it is curious - see SoMads post above mine).

Good Job Marco. I send him one more warning if he continue doing this we can request to disable both his accounts.

Thank you Jibesh.
I hadn't thought about him for a while until I've seen him bothering Chris in the Sugs and Bugs[^] again - with the account which should be closed according to Marcus Kramer. This was the point when I started to dig deeper because at this moment I remembered that Marcus said something like "the account has been closed according to sock-puppeteering". In the end I spent half an hour searching for evidence and recovered two sock puppet accounts - Not a bad day .
