Write an article about it. Seriously, if you want to get people interested in an OS project, the best thing to do is write an article about it. We love articles. That way, you help to drum up interest in it, and you can get feedback from people on it. I see that I responded to this email. You could easily have answered the question I raised there in an article.
So, please, write an article or two on it.

One other point - you're using XPO, which is a commercial product. If people want to use your library, then they will have to purchase XPO. Why not use nHibernate instead?

As a note, I wouldn't be too likely to use an open source code base that hasn't been updated in 4+ years either.
I wasn't, now I am, then I won't be anymore.

You've been put of using the site for that time because of a few flippant comments?
You may want to avoid the Internet. All of it.
Honestly:
You posted in the Lounge: People will leap on anything the think is either spam or trying to boost one's own ego. Your post fell into both of those categories to different sets of people.

Thanks god still in some sites you can report a comment on a comment or reply and it will removed and the user will acknowledged in some how.

Thank you all for your replies. And yes for a long time I didn't even update the project on CodePlex.
Idea from complaining now even after 5 years is that every time I think of an idea or article to post here I don't do because of the expected rude comments. so I decided to complain.
And yes you all know how much people like us sensitive.

You know how the tag line to Alien was "In space no one can hear you scream"? The tag line for the lounge is "In the lounge every one's a jerk every now and again". Don't be put off by one forum in this site; there are a lot of other forums here, and you will find that people warm to you over time.

As far I've seen he has apologized and admitted that he was wrong.
Why don't we give him another chance?
IMO if you wanted him gone you could just have said "Well - Byebye chap." and Wouldn't have to discuss his behaviour with him.

The message with apologies appeared after I already reported the case, but of course, I agree with you.

I thought so - That's why I told it to you. Fair treatment for you and the other guy. Since he has apologized can you remove the links to his profile from the OP? many people in here are not very good at reading posts to the end and see that he has apologized

As I say, I understand and agree.
Thank you for your note.

For example: Those Magnificent Men, a game for Windows[^]
This is the second revision to the article, but it's just a bunch of screen shots on how to play the game and the download links go to other sites, not CP.
It's been voted 5 because of the pretty pictures, not because it's an article that discusses how it was built.
Or am I being too critical?

AFAIK even the AppInno Contest articles must contain source code.
DaveAuld has done a great example of how an AppInno Contest example[^] should look like.
I consider the article is just pure propaganda for the game.
Fire in the hole!

I had a quick conversation with the author. It looks like he will repost with code and explanation, so that should be good. All it took was a little bit of TLC.
