Hi there,
when I want to view my profile I get the hamster's screen of death with the error message
"The given key was not present in the dictionary."
It is happening for Mike Hankeys profile too, and I guess so it does for every other profile.

|

Yes it happening with others profile page too.

Suddenly discovered, my Professional Profile is not visible anymore.
Here is the link: http://www.codeproject.com/script/Membership/View.aspx?mid=4353127[^]
Hitting this link I get this error:
"We're not sure what, but we have a few guesses.
Problem: The given key was not present in the dictionary.
Ticket: 6304101
Server: Web04"
Did I do something wrong?

Nope, it is happening for all the profiles (see above, my post).
I think the hamsters will be tamed by Chris as soon as he gets to work, but since he lives in the Aussie-Canadian time zone we might have to wait approx. 3-5 hours.
Let's hope they do not destroy anything else.

Maybe there is some development issue occurs.

My money is on a bug related to the new entries they added on the Privileges tab. I will go as far as point to the "Edit other members' articles" action.
[EDIT]The workaround is simple: Make all profiles Admin. [/EDIT]

Hi,
According to the Member Reputation System[^], 'Source code or demo file downloaded' isn't weighted. But in my rep history, sometimes I get 2 points, 4 points, or 8 points, thus it's weighted.
Is this a bug, or should there be a green tick for 'Source code or demo file downloaded'?

Does sometimes mean 'recently' or 'I used to'?
There was a bug that was making it weights which I've fixed. I'm going to rerun the rep calculator which will fix this. And, of course, mean you will lose those points.

I have sort of a related question concerning the Edit points, it seems to add points rather randomly in the Q&A section. What are the conditions you get points for here exactly?

I suggest to add "Paste as table" functionality, if a text in a memory (clipboard) is in tabular format.
Who votes for?

That will be good...
Thanks

Paste as HTML will handle this if the source of the text stores the data in HTML format on the clipboard.

I know... but if data comming from Excel worksheet, SQL Server Management Studio, etc., for example:
123456 wwww
456789 eeee
789456 rrr
456123 ttt
"Paste as HTML" option is inaccessible
Above data are in tabular format, because between them tabulator is as a separator.
It could be formatted like this:
column 1 | column 2 |
---|
123456 | wwww | 456789 | eeee | 789456 | rrr | 456123 | ttt |
What you think about it?

What is this new Member type "Professional" made for?
Sorry if I should've read that in a newsletter

It's just an indicator that you filled in your professional profile.
From the profile page

Why do I need this special member status? And why is it special?
