I'm afraid I misread the message. I read it as "source code". It happens to be when I wake up almost 5 hours earlier then on my usual day.
I hope the account is still alive; and I'll try to fix my message. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I read it as he was looking for "open source" code for Photoshop. Since Adobe released the original code for 1.0.1, that's what I gave him.
If he's looking for something LIKE Photoshop, there's always Paint.NET, which you get the source for for free.

Unfortunately, Paint.NET is not like Photoshop, not even close. But GIMP is. In some aspects it is better than Photoshop, in some, Photoshop is better: it has more extras and covers more pixel formats.

Hehe. True. But do you really think he'd understand the code in any case?? Somehow, I doubt he'd be able to understand the source for Notepad.

Most likely, you are absolutely right.

Apparently you can only get the old source to Paint.NET nowadays. Apparently, someone was ripping off the project and trying to pass it of as their own; even going so far as to rip off the plugin contributors.

Wow. Just wow. And I thought the people ripping articles off were a bunch of elephanting trolls.

Yup. I read his blog post on this over the weekend. Details[^]

Apparenlty you can still get the vast majority of the source, just not the resource files for the application text and images. Though, the link for getting it is buried somewhere, or you may have to ask the guy for it specifically.

You want time then, move to Wales!
I think we had three wholly dry days last year, if you exclude the one when it snowed instead...

And now I know why most of the sheeps are white- they are constantly wasshed, at least the welsh ones.
Now seriously, after 25 degrees and sunny weather, we have snow outside, again .

I just noticed one more of the same sort; I reported it next to your report; you can find it above.
Please see. I think that one should go the same way as the one you reported. I even suggested an idea why do I think so.
