Awesome, thanks! I figured you probably had something, just couldn't find it on the site.

Look in the red rectangle at the bottom of the image. The 'View Thread' link has an image of name rss16.png appended to it, causing HoverZoom to show a loading image.
I think OriginalGriff reported this before, but you guys could not replicate it.
Other Notes:
* It happens seemingly randomly.

It's hard to know if it's a bug in the extension or on our page. My only suggestion is that if you see it, please open that same page in another browser (without the extension) and see if the link is OK.

The link often changes between refreshes, on any browser I have tried (Chrome, IE10, and Firefox). Sometimes it will be 'normal', sometimes it has odd characters and stuff at the end. My current guess is a bug in the ASP.NET subsystem CodeProject uses, as I have seen similar issues in ASP.NET MVC 4 (i.e. links with odd characters). So this might just be a 'feature' of the framework.

Unlikely because pretty much all our links are generated by us. We don't let ASP.NET screw around too much.

Then I am out of ideas. Something, somewhere, is doing something weird. Just what? And why? Likely a debugging headache (as I have seen for most complex applications and libraries. I hate it when a the debugger dies an untimely death because of the version of a library, as has happened to me several times.)

This message[^] used to say 'Message Automatically Removed', but now it is back. Who? What? When? Where? Why? How?
I just find that weird(ish).

Another possibility is you landed in an unsinchronized server. Did you F5, F5, F5 ???

But it is not stored in my bookmarks.
I don't know why. When I bookmark other articles, this phenomenon will not happen.

That might be because it's not an article but a Tip/Trick.
You can switch to Tip/Trick bookmarks by clicking on the link below the large Page Title saying
"Your Article bookmarks on CodeProject" -> Your other bookmarks: Tip/Trick
Edit: However, I must admit that's not that obvious at the first sight... Probably room for improvement

Hi, I was trying to read this discussion in the lounge:
The cost of software[^]
But I was finding it hard to navigate all the posts because the thread was quickly being pushed down the loung pages so I used "View Thread"
So far so good, now, only three pages that do not shift and can move back and forth on the discussions, "except" that at the moment I expand another post, I go back to the lounge view and get caught again in a thread shifting scenario. Basically what happens is that I can't maintain the view of the thread only, it goes back to viewing the entire lounge.
Known bug? I've searched a little and didn't see any other post related to this problem in particular
