I would like to know how to count blank lines before methods in java code
|
|
|
|
|
Read each line, if it's blank add 1 to a counter. Continue until all lines have been read.

public class someclass{
public void savedata()
{
Connection con
}
public void usecon()
{
savedata sd = new savedata();
}
}

Why are you trying to create an object with the name of one of your class's member functions? If con is a member variable of the class then you need to initialise it somewhere and then you just use it by its name in any of the other functions. Maybe you should go back and read up on classes and their members.

public class ConClass
{
public Connection con = null;
public ConClass(DataSource ds){
try{
con = ds.getConnection();
} catch(SqlException ex){
System.out.println(ex.getMessage());
}
}
public Connection getCon(){
return con;
}
}
public class SaveData
{
private Connection con = null;
public void save(ConClass cObj){
if(con == null){
con = cObj.getCon();
}
}

by using the java program from my system i have to edit the yyy.txt file.
is it possible.? please guide me or send some suggestions.

The file must be shared from the remote system, and your userid needs to have full read/write access to it, in which case you just use the full path name as above.

I think using a socket can meet your demand.

Basically no.
To do anything on another computer the other computer must be running an application and you must communicate with that application.
For example, per the other response, if you "share" a file\directory then the OS itself (on each machine) is using a mechanism to create the appearance the file is in both places.
Conversely you could log in to another, again via something running on that machine and run an editor on that machine (which how you logged in is a feature that could be provided) and then you could edit it.

How to prevent a Java program to be copied, and crack down on software piracy

Best way is to insure that the service provided by the company associated with the product provides benefits that make copying the program close to worthless.

Hello there,
I am planning to develop a GUI that will run on Windows, Linux, Android & iOS. If am right, Java apps don't work on iOS. Is that correct?
Is there an alternative to that?
Which other tool works for GUI development on above mentioned 4 platforms?
Please advise.
Thanks in advance.

Browsers work on all of them. So something that runs in a browser with, with testing, work on all of them.

Hey guys. We've written a java based messaging program, and we'd like to have someone assist us in porting it to Android. We've tried with one developer, and he wasn't quite as great as he said he was, and we never got it working. We've got information about the program on our indiegogo page HERE. Currently, we're too busy to work on both the PC version and the Android version at the same time, as it would hinder our progress. Anyone interested, please let me know, either on here, or (faster) on Skype: methaneboy. Thanks and looking forward to finding someone to work with
