Wasting one's time deleting the text of a spam post is not necessary and while reporting spam as spam and then commenting in the textbox is the thing to do, if you really think calling any more attention to it IS necessary and an issue worthy of public note, leave that judgement to those who WOULD post if THEY thought it necessary, please.

Please don't edit the spam to remove the content - it makes it a lot harder for the automated systems Chris tries to spot what is and what isn't when it gets reported. I used to, but I can understand the logic once I was hit over the head with it...
Report it, here and with the report flag, and it will vanish son enough!

Not the whole article, but a large part was copied. So yes, it is plagiarism. I down-voted and reported the article.
Member 10317084 wrote: How come you guys promote such an article???
The articles in the Top Article Survey are selected based on vote count. The article had enough up-votes to be one of the Top Articles.
[EDIT]
The author has deleted the article now.

No, I'm not, but if the admins read your message, then they will probably send him guidelines, or even close his account.

We most assuredly do not promote plagiarism. But, since CP is a community policed site, not everybody puts forth the effort to find out if an article is plagiarized or not and they hit the Approve button without doing the work to find out.

I have seen he has more articles, eventually to be checked out... don't you think?

Yes, I checked them, and for his two other articles, I found them posted on another site, but posted AFTER the version on CodeProject. So the article that's deleted now is the only one he plagiarized.
Looks like I didn't see that his other articles also were plagiarized.
