azznice wrote: Should I develop this website using Wordpress? It all depends on your skill set. You could use ASP.NET or php, or one of the many free web builder tools that exist on the internet, such as Joomla[^].

I'd suggest building it yourself from scratch, then you can build it to exactly the way you want

Is it okay to use some framework like codeignitor or zend frame work ? or i should do it by Core PHP?
what do you say?

That's down to your own personal preference. Whatever you are most comfortable with.
Personally, I use Laravel (http://www.laravel.com)

Hi. I designed a web form using visual studio 2012 which has a few buttons on top of it. I need to show a list of sub buttons when the user points to any of the buttons on top. for example when the user points to media button, a list of three buttons appears under media button and the user would be able to click on any of them.
thanks and regards
web form, c#, mouseover

Hi,
First of all you have to search for mousehover menu html/javascript code. Apply that html\css to your web page and after that add all sub buttons according to mousehover menu html. Then the button will display as you want and also all of them will be your asp.net buttons.

I have created a page that displays label data in a 3xN array suitable for printing on Avery 5160 labels. A form feed, "", is placed after each group of 30 labels. I tried using CSS "page-break-after: always", but it did not work as expected.
For multiple pages worth of data, when printed or print previewed in IE8 and FF, the position and spacing of the 10 rows of labels on each page is constant.
In IE10 the position of the first row is constant but the spacing between the first and second row of labels narrows on each page after the first page. This can be seen in the print preview and on the printed pages. The space between all of the other rows is still constant.
Does anyone know an HTML or CSS tweak that might fix this?
Thanx,

Don't know if it'll help, but have you tried adding a neta tag to the page header such as
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=9"/>
(or "IE-8" if necessary.) This may, or may not, affect how the page renders on the screen...

Thanks for the response. I did find and try some meta tags suggested on other forums. The X-UA-Compatible that I found set content equal IE7, but it did not fix the problem.
What finally worked was to use page-break-before instead of page-break-after. The results should have been identical for either style code, but they were dramatically different in IE10.

Hi,
I tried to find the various settings for the startmode in app.config file.
There is apparently, "Console" and "Services". I tried researching this and could not find any listings for it. Are there any other settings?
<setting name="Startmode" serializeAs="String">
<value>Console</value>
If the application is set to "Console", then we cannot have this running as a service at the same time? Does this sound about right?
Thanks so much for your time.

That looks like an application-specific setting, not something built-in to the framework. You'll need to look at the documentation or source of the application to find out what the available settings are.

guys;
I've got a <div /> that has a z-index value of 999, but it lays over an <ol /> with z-index=1000.
I just want to know what the reason can be, because this is so confusing.
thanks in advance;

Without seeing your code in your css file I would guess you do not have the "position" set for the elements.

Sir;
you are right. But I had to set the position of the list to absolute because it suppose to present the dropdownlist of a combobox.
what should i do to solve this case.

Then maybe you didn't set the position for the div? Try adjusting that to say relative to see what it does. It always helps to just experiment with css settings to see what happens. I would also suggest searching google for help on positioning as it can be confusing and hard to understand. Some elements do not respond to anything you do which would be learned in online articles.

Thank you for your assist. I just reduced the z-index value for the div element, and it worked. (I don't need all these nines, one nine would be enough )
