The reason is: the current version of the article is deleted, and so are the files.

Yes. It looks like the author chose to delete the article themselves and it is up to their discretion what lives, and what dies.

How can I have a jsFiddle in my article?

- Go to jsfiddle.net[^]
- Create a fiddle
- Save it
- Link to it in your article

Thanks for the reply. Actually I just don't want to give a link I need to embed.
please check http://doc.jsfiddle.net/use/embedding.html[^]

Hi Shemeer,
Could you please link to an example of someone using it somewhere? I can probably add the iframe for you, but if we go that route any updates you make to the article will have to go through me, sadly

I was creating a jQuery article thats why I need this badly.
I don't know any CP article that uses embeded jsFiddle but here is one external blog http://blog.rastasoft.ir/node/46/[^

Hmmm. Not 100% sure it will work, but when it comes time to post it send me the URL and I will try and cram the iframe in there for you.

Hi,
I just deleted a post from my technical blog as it looked horrible as the iframes (embedded jsfiddle) weren't correctly rendered. Also my code extracts, although I found a way around that problem.
Did you ever find a solution for embedding jsfiddle iframes into a post?
Thanks
Ronnie

Sadly only admins can do it. I saw what you were trying to do but I'm locked out of your article for a few more minutes.
I think the best thing to do here is to make them links, unless you don't mind if I update your post every time you want to update it - otherwise those iframes will break again.
Thanks,

Oh ok.
I will manually post the article at some point then, will remove its 'CodeProject' tag on my blog, and will just include links to the js fiddle bits.
Thanks

I submitted my first article yesterday, and want to edit it to add a screen shot. I was able to upload the file, but trying to insert the image has failed so far. I tried two things:
0) Using the "insert image" button; I added as the location both the name of the image:
AWOScreamshot.png
-and the HTML that seemed to be indicated for it:
<img src="AWOScreamshot.png" >
...but neither worked
1) Dragging and dropping the uploaded file to the spot on the page where I wanted it to appear. The name of the file appeared there, but not the image itself.
What am I missing or misunderstanding?

Hmm. I would think both would work. Could you please give me a URL to your article and possibly email me the image at sean[at]codeproject.com? I suspect the server is letting you down.
Thanks,

Hey there!
Today I wrote an article on CP : Storing binary data in SQL Server using EF[^]
You can download a zip file containing a solution. Projects in the solution however, reference a couple of NuGet packages. I didn't include those packages because the zip file would be way too large. I guess downloaders of the source file will then receive errors because the referenced package files are not available. How can I solve this?
Thanks a bunch!

|
|

Just put a note near the top of the article to explain what the prerequisites are. So, if something needs nuget, then let's make sure that you tell them there.

I can do that
Thanks!

I got an answer that my article has been closed. It will not be in lists. what that means?
How to make my article reopen? Will my article will not be shown on code project site?
|
|
|
|
|
If the article is closed then you should have received an email with the reason. Closed articles are not available here on Code Project, but you can update the same and resubmit it with corrections. Then it will be available for approval again.

Yeah I got response that article is not related to software development or IT.
What changes would be required to make it for software development or IT? In my opinion I have given complete .net code and process to achieve the purpose then is should be related to Software Development.
