Lol, you're in for it now.
Just drop a short note over to the admins (use the Forum problems or suggestions? link at the top of the page) and point this out, they'll clean it up when they get a chance.

hello,
I am trying to compile a source code written in MFC(Microsoft Foundation Class) language.
I am continuesly facing an error called C2664:
cannot convert parameter 1 from 'class CRobot' to 'class CRobot *'
It says also : No user-defined-conversion operator available that can perform this conversion, or the operator cannot be called.
I tryed to overload both "constructor" and "=". But it doesn´t help.
I think it is simple compiler error but I´m not able to solve it.
If you need to see the code please let me know and I´ll send it to you.
(nounouladanoise@yahoo.fr)
Thanx a lot.

The compiler is telling you it needs a pointer to an object, not an actual object. Try calling the fucntion like this:
CRobot robot;
...
SomeFunction(&robot);

Actually, I need help.
I need a logo for one of my apps. But not being skilled in the graphics or aesthetics department, I am stumped here. Will any one please make it for me? I will give a free copy of my app to you when it comes out, even if you don't need the app. I think it's going to be within a month or so.
If anyone would like to help me out, you can send an email to rohit at daritesite.com. Or reply to this post and I shall send an email to you with all the details about the app and my requirements.
Thanks.
Regards,
Rohit Sinha

Not to sound like a pest, but I still haven't got a reply to the mail I sent you so I have no way of knowing if you got it. Did you? If you don't have the time to do it or can't do it for any other reason, it's perfectly OK, but just let me know.
And I don't know who voted your post a 1 and why, but the fact that it's still 2.3 after I voted it 5 to bring the rating back up shows that it was a platinum member (I am gold). Now there are not too many platinum members on this site. And this also shows that even platinum members don't know how to vote.

Hi Rohit. This is my first post on this site. Do you still need help with a logo? I'm sorry that this didn't come earlier when you originally asked for help. I'm not a professional graphic artist, but I do have artistic ability, good computer skills and tools, and a desire to help out (I feel what goes around, comes around). If you still need assistance, I can probably help you.
One day I will fill this space with a witty signature.

Thank you so much.
But I've got it done by a professional graphics designer now. But thanks again.

Hi,
those who'd like to test version 2.0 of InboxShield please send me an email at info@edovia.com.
What I'm looking for (but anyone is welcomed):
- Computer without Visual Studio (Mr. Everybody's computer, not Mr. Developer's computer)
- MS Office 2000, XP, with/without service packs
- MS Access not present on the system
- Any Windows version, but the older the better
- Low RAM settings
- POP3 accounts
There will also be a standalone version included in version 2.0, that will not be dependent of Outlook or any other email client software...
Even if you don't meet these criterias (but are close or at least meet one of them), by all means send me an email! You get the product for free once it's released!!!
