As long as you're improving your article, I say go for it. Your article was picked because of how well it did in December - there's nothing in the rules that says you have to leave it alone. Heck, I find it commendable that you're looking to update it.

Hi,
Can anybody provide some guidelines for becoming code project MVP.
Thanks,

Write great articles that inform us about topics that interest. Help out by giving great answers in the forums. Don't be obsessed with the title MVP. Oh, and a good start is learning which forums you should post questions in.

Thanks for reply. Well, I am just curious to know how it goes. I mean do codeproject pick up top 10 or 20 members who have earned maximum points in a year through there articles and answers or there is some other parameter.
Thanks

Hello Brother,
With due respect just forget about becoming an MVP. At the end of the day just ask your self:
1)How much have i learned?
2)How many people have i helped?
3)Whats my knowledge?
When you figure out the answers to these questions, then there is a likely hood that you may near the target to become an MVP.
I am no Duke of Normandy to speak like this, i myself have not achieved anything .Becoming an MVP haunted me. So i decided by myself to work hard and still i am no where near it. I need to grow more and more.
I really apologize if i am sounding rude
So best of luck brother,
Thanks a ton,
and Take care

I am no one to guide you like this, i am not that powerful as you are. I saw your profile.
But the thing is the more you run after a thing the more it haunts you.
I apologize once again, if i said something wrong
Thanks

The following articles are supposedly deleted and do not show up under my articles, but people are still able to get to them.
Anyways, now I've tried to update the article and I put a note on it to the editor, but the article doesn't show up.
*Now, I'm ready to go ahead and add these articles back to codeproject again, but it doesn't seem to work, but people are still downloading my code. Can someone please help with this?
I can only get to them by searching Google. Hmmm...
Here's the first one:

Here's the 2nd one:

*Note:I originally had to delete my articles because there was a possibility of a publishing contract going on.

Can you provide a link to your article please?

That's true, but there is already a link to the article. If you don't provide a link, it's not possible to help you.

Hello Masoud,
please see my post directly below yours. I've linked to two posts pertaining to that matter. From these threads that I linked to you'll see that involvement of the hamsters is required. @Sean-Ewington will be able to help you with this.

I've already found some hints on how to proceed when trying to include a video into a CP article:

Video-on-an-article[^]
What I would like to know if it is also possible to upload this kind of video to codeproject.tv. It would of course be a free video, but I'm not so sure if it would be fit to be placed on CodeProject.TV since it's not really learning material. It would be just a teaser showing of what the article is all about.
Would placing videos on CodeProject.TV for this kind of purpose be a viable option?

I would say yes, assuming that the video could also (in some way) stand on its own to someone on who viewed only it on CodeProject.TV.
If that isn't what you had in mind YouTube embedding is also possible. That said, in either scenario I would have to embed the video for you, then unfortunately after that you would be unable to edit the article yourself and would have to send edits through me, as well.
Thanks,

I am using A Code Project Article Editor with Live Preview [^] to create an article. Now I want to include some XAML code in the article text. However simply copying and pasting the XAML between <pre lang="XML"></pre> tags does not seem to do it in the mentioned editor (obviously).
My question is will the codeproject submission process handle this for me or do I need to "pre-format" the XAML before submission?
My guess would be that this is handled for me since creating a XML pre tag while posting this question seems to convert the XML for me in the preview but better be safe than sorry I guess...
Thanks in advance.
