No, inside the Widget, there is a Type, which shows Article after I update.
It also shows under Article Tab in Moderation Queue.

Hmmm. Now that the article switch has been flipped, I personally can't un-flip it. If you have an update to apply to another technical blog entry, let me try that and see what happens.
Thanks,

Hi Sean,
Yeah, I have another Blog to update.
Link- Why .NET is .NET !!![^].
Need to add an image at top right as in original Blog - http://taditdash.wordpress.com/2014/01/09/why-net-is-net/[^].
Code is...
<a href="http://taditdash.files.wordpress.com/2014/01/microsoft-net.png"><img src="http://taditdash.files.wordpress.com/2014/01/microsoft-net.png?w=300" alt="Microsoft.Net" width="300" height="192" class="alignright size-medium wp-image-65" /></a>
Please try and let me know what happens.

Well it worked OK for me, but I have many permissions. Do you have another one to update? I'd like to try one more thing.
Worst case if this turns out to be a bug you know you can send technical blog updates to me. I'd be happy to apply them for you.
Thanks,
Sean Ewington

Yeah, I can see the update you have done. Thanks for that.
Actually the Blog having the issue have many revisions now. So, I think for that reason only, it opens up as an Article by default. Can you just delete all the revisions keeping only the current one?
Blog - ASP.NET CheckBoxList Client Side Validation using JavaScript[^].
Please do the following update to it...
Remove the two images at top. Instead add the following code so that images will be larger as in original Post - http://taditdash.wordpress.com/2014/02/12/asp-net-checkboxlist-client-side-validation-using-javascript/[^].
The code to update is...
<div id="attachment_115" style="width: 518px" class="wp-caption alignleft"><a sl-processed="1" href="http://taditdash.files.wordpress.com/2014/02/asp-net-checkbox-validation-nothing-checked.png"><img src="http://taditdash.files.wordpress.com/2014/02/asp-net-checkbox-validation-nothing-checked.png?w=800" alt="ASP.NET CheckBox Validation Nothing Checked" class="size-full wp-image-115"></a><p class="wp-caption-text">ASP.NET CheckBox Validation Nothing Checked</p></div>
<div id="attachment_114" style="width: 514px" class="wp-caption alignleft"><a sl-processed="1" href="http://taditdash.files.wordpress.com/2014/02/asp-net-checkbox-validation-atleast-one-checked.png"><img src="http://taditdash.files.wordpress.com/2014/02/asp-net-checkbox-validation-atleast-one-checked.png?w=800" alt="ASP.NET CheckBox Validation Atleast one Checked" class="size-full wp-image-114"></a><p class="wp-caption-text">ASP.NET CheckBox Validation Atleast one Checked</p></div>

Sadly revisions are forever
I confirmed that when you try to update the blog entry, it changes to an article type. I will pass this onto the dev team. In the mean time, could you please email me all the updates you want done? I'll gladly take care of them all.
Thanks,
Sean Ewington

Hi Team,
I have published one blog - WHY ASP.NET IS ASP.NET?[^] today on my Wordpress.com Blog. But it is not yet updated at Code Project.
My Technical Blog feed says...
Last Polled - 1-Feb-14 6:56
Last Updated - 9-Jan-14 22:18
I don't know why it is not polling today. Is there any problem because before this, one Blog is already pulled by CP and I have not changed any settings after that. Does it take more time?
[Update]
Today morning I got the notification that the Blog is pulled and under approval queue.
Thanks,

There is a good guide on that here:

The figures are all missing and the status of it is still "Pending" in this just published article here. In addition, it is still in the queue waiting for approval??
I just checked, all the images for it that were there before been approved are now missing when viewed in the online edit page?? They are just re-uploaded.
Also the download packages are also not linked correctly ....

Apologies, there's a bug somewhere we're still hunting.
In the meantime, could you please email me your images/code in a .rar, or renamed .zip (ie .notzip) file?
Thanks,

...without me?
Just posted an article - Visual Studio Extensions - from Add-in to VSPackage[^]
1. The image in the middle just gone missing in the process of approval - there is a way to restore it?
2. The code doesn't seem to be linked properly, as 'Browse Code' states that no download associated with this content. But there is a zip file linked at the top of the article...

Oh, I thought it can be done without it...
In that case I will upload them again, I believe you have other things to do - who feeds the hamsters today?
Thank you anyway...

Just wanted to check and get some comments on this...
I am going to blog about some recent development I have done, sliderDemo[^], and in the blog I was going to link to my github as a location for the source. I am not concerned about the licensing model, intended to be open sourced, but I was curious how something like this would be handled by CP??
I don't want to step on too many toes.
Thanks in advance.

I cant see why they'd have an issue - many people here have blogs they also use to expose technical writing - as long as when you post an article here, it meets the standards and you include a source upload, you can also post a link to github .. and on your blog you can also refer to CP ..
(I'll be doing the same shortly)

If I understand you correctly, we'd ideally like to host a local copy of the source (if it's under 10 MB) and then put a link right below that to github for "The Latest Source" download. Would that be acceptable?
Thanks,

I don't mind at all.
I was going to write this as a blog post then have it consumed by CP and I just don't want to step on any toes by including a link in the blog to github.

How would you go about adding a code snippet on javascript?
Every time that I add it to the editor and preview the code its not there.
Is there a guide to how to add code snippets of this type?

I think if you are pasting the code into the article editor, you would want to use the second paste option shown here (JUST for when you are pasting code alone, mind you):
Code Project Article FAQ[^]
"Encode HTML"
Unless you change all of the angled brackets from "<" to "<" and so forth, the <pre> tags will absorb all your code like a glass of water poured into a river.
If the article editor is hurting you, please feel free to email me your code and I'll be happy to tackle the process for you.
Thanks,

It seems that the Cite value in the format selector (in the editor) does nothing.
I tried several times but at the end done some hand-formatting via HTML...
