OK, that's the same bug. That's the date I added my LinkedIn ID to my profile. That action caused all kinds of havoc (reset several properties of my profile). See this[^] post.

The description for the "Premium" member type is:[^]
Quote: Members of this group get a Premium status icon premium next to their name in the message boards, in their profile and in their biography at the end of articles.
"and in their biography at the end of articles"... Looking at one of my articles, the icon did not show up.
Is the description wrong or is it a bug?

Just saw codeproject.tv, logged in, change some of my data. Then suddently the whole site is broken, "No signal". Please fix it, I'm very curious to see what it's all about.

We had a 5 minute outage yesterday for an upgrade. Usually there's zero outage but this one was a little more complicated. Most of the fires are now out - just cleaning up the water damage.

A QA answer was recently linked to from the Lounge. That answer was subsequently deleted. Now, when I follow that link, I see the question and no answers. However, when I click on the question, I then see the answers again (the ones which weren't deleted).

Here's a few more to put on your list.
0) The footer on that page says "Displaying 15 tasks out of 18"; but is showing 9 tasks and 6 rollup items.
1) If I switch to list layout the tasks and rollup headers are showing in seemingly random order.
2) While I can't find a way to see the other 3 items, since it says 15 of 18 items and I seen an item #18 I assume you're starting the count at 1 instead of 0 like any proper (read non-VB brain damaged) programmer would do.
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

That's because I manually entered it when I wrote that post. As you can see in my reply, it didn't stick around for long.

Can't you just re-add it?

OK, I'll try doing that again. Let's see if it will stick. I'm not hopeful.

All I did (just before reporting the "loss of professionalism" bug some days ago) was add my LinkedIn url to my profile. That (IMHO) caused a recently added property (company size, IIRC) to be automagically set to null (unspecified), causing me become unprofessional. I haven't mucked with anything in my account since then other than accepting a coupon.

I understand what happened the first time, but I thought you mentioned your sig disappeared again (as in a few hours ago). If that was the case, do you recall what you were doing?
I can't reproduce the issue

I believe that was my misunderstanding. I (incorrectly) assumed setting/modifying a sig while entering a post would also cause that sig to be written to my profile. That's why I was surprised when the sig I entered appeared in my post but not automatically in successive replies.
The change in the way the sig now appears in the preview window only on first content also threw me off. I don't think this is how it used to work. IIRC, the sig was always visible in the preview window.
Thanks,

There was much debate about this many, many moons ago and it was decided that we needed to allow members to make transient changes to their sigs for a specific message without it sticking. Changing this behaviour is an easy thing.

Sorry to disappoint you but this behaviour has not changed for years.
