She's not that bad but the interview is lame; Myerson doesn't really answer a question or tell us anything relevant that isn't already known or being rumored.
"Microsoft OS chief sees a 'One Windows' future (Q&A)"... I hope he doesn't do that with just one eye and is blind on the other one.

Eight months ago we asked you to provide feedback on the features you want us to ship. And you didn’t disappoint! Since then, we’ve seen hundreds of Tweets, blog posts and user voice votes. It’s great to be part of such a thriving community. That feedback does work

The short answer to this tremendously popular question is, no, ReSharper will not use Roslyn...We’ll be sure to peek into Roslyn code and tests from time to time, to see how C# and VB.NET language features are implemented. We don’t rule out that actual code supporting them is going to emerge before formal specifications are finalized.

Once developers understand lambdas, functions, immutable state and asynchronicity, they’ll understand functional programming.

Microsoft pulled the plug on Windows XP support on Tuesday and the IE team has put together a fun little game called ‘Escape from Windows XP’ which is a small browser based shooter that, as you would expect, you try to escape Windows XP.
"Die XP, die!" Not exactly subtle, Microsoft, but effective.

Hopefully they add more to the game. I'd like to kill a lot more of Mirosoft's products than just XP and IE

Well, I played the game briefly and it crashed my browser...
...need I say more?

lol, it crashed Firefox for me twice (both times were right after it listed my achievements at the end). I'm wondering if this is a bug or an "easter egg"

An anarchist group has offered internet giant Google a deal, give us $3bn and we will leave you alone. I'm sure they could get someone to get rid of them for less than $3billion

I can beat that price. I will leave them alone for $2 Billion.

They will be able to buy a lot of herbal tea with that.
(Because proper tea is theft).

Of course if they were REALLY anarchists...
But nobody really is, of course.

Exactly. If they were real anarchists, they wouldn't ask for any money at all.

Operators behind hundreds of thousands of websites apparently couldn't care less that they're running an unsupported operating system. Read the full article for the gem about the Australia Post. Gotta love governments.

500,000 websites are hosted on Windows 2000 servers So why care for those few XP "servers" - they are just about 1% of that number.
And on the other hand: "Linux" - how old are those Linux versions? That's just far harder to find out...
There's no way that number is that low.
maybe there is a confusion (what's new) between the number of servers and the number of websites.
I'd rather be phishing!

Still though. I expect at least a couple more zeros on that.

We’d like you to meet Carousel: a gallery for all the photos and videos from your life. It combines the photos in your Dropbox with the photos on your phone, and automatically backs up new ones as you take them. "All I've got is a photograph, but it's not enough"

Because the internet as a market place does not much prefer the first entrants (or originators) the only way to prevent a race to the bottom based off price is to ruthlessly buy every company that pops its head over the parapet.
