Limit is just for rep points. Your report will still be considered as usual.

I want to agree with Rohan since that is what I have always believed. However, I have already reported 25 posts in the forums today (Black Magic Baba was being bad) and now it does not look like my spam votes are counting any more. I have red-flagged the 'WhatsApp' post in The Lounge and two 'Voodoo' posts in the ::Workspaces forum, but I don't see them as having any votes at all at this point.

[EDIT]
Well, nevermind. It looks like my spam vote on the latest post in the "Uncategorised Posts" forum counted.

When you report it, the subject line appears unaltered in the Reputation events list - which means that the telephone number they are trying to publicise appears there.
Might it be an idea to remove strings of digits from the title when showing reports? Just thinking that Google can index that page (or can it?) so the spam is "still there" to an extent.

Google can't. The Reputation Events list is only accessible if you are logged in, and only accessible to yourself; you cannot see Reputation history of other members.
By the way, congratulations with your 1M milestone!

Strange: I can, and I'm logged in.
The steps I took to duplicate your problem where:
1) hover the mouse over "quick answers" on the navigation bar above until the drop-down opens.
2) Click on "C# questions" from the new menu.
3) The page that results shows me loads of questions, some answered, some not.
I'm using Chrome 34.0.1847.131 on Win7/64 and get no problem.
What am I doing that is different from what you are doing?

Please do not use PostImg again: it is primarily used for pornographic images, as shown by the thumbnails of naked ladies at the bottom of the page. Links like that do not improve the sites standing with "Net nanny" software or Net Nazi departments.
Use Dropbox instead, please.

On the settings of the blog on my profile page, I see the option "Is this a Community Discussion forum?". I didn't know what that meant, so I checked that checkbox and saved the settings, but nothing changed.
What does this option do?

I've checked them and they seem fine,

I don't see images in that article (rather, I see broken images).
Also, I don't see comments in that article (probably related to that article not being approved yet, or something like that).

Link on a modified article in moderation queue and it goes to the published version with message Quote: There is a version that is ready for approval by the community. Would you like to view or edit it?.
Also noticed several articles in the queue with "This is an old version of the currently published ..."

From the list of WORKSPACES that detail my downloading behavior

- Go to the Workspace that you want to delete.
- Go to "Edit workspace settings" by clicking on the gear icon.
- Click on the "Delete this workspace" button and confirm that you want to delete it.

done, done, done, done ... except for the latest.
This one's different because there's no gear to access the DELETE button after I get to a project page.
Anyone know why some stuff's different from other stuff?
(thanks PFOX)

That's strange. Can you please provide a link to the article where you have downloaded the source?

The "Report" flag doesn't appear on messages in the Bugs and Suggestions forum. This means that we cannot report spam here.

If I click on the Startpage (just plain http://www.codeproject.com/[^]) in the Latest Article section on the filter for C# this gives a nicely filtered list of articles and tips.
If I now switch over to http://www.codeproject.com/script/Answers/List.aspx?tab=active[^] a filter gets applied: "C#, C#3.5, C#5, C#1.0, C#2.0, C#3.0, C#4.0". Even if there was a filter previously set for Q&A questions.
Ist this an intended "feature"? As far as I can see the filters aren't connected to each other directly. (That means, I can reset the filter in the Q&A manually and am able to see all questions again, but the "Latest articles" list is still filtered by what I originally selected there (e.g. "C#")). And is there a way to "prevent" the site from overwriting the Q&A filter?
Also an interesting side effect: If you select "C++" in the article and follow the quick link to the C# questions in the Q&A you get no results because "Sorry, no entries were found matching tags C#, C++, C++/CLI, C, VC6, VC7, VC7.1, VC8.0, VC9.0, VC10.0, VC11.0, VC12.0"
A better way in my opinion would be to separate those filters from each other. But those preselection isn't really bad for Q&A either. So a quick way to find only e.g. Android questions would also be nice. Why not change the list with the 5 most used tags under the "quick answers" menu to a menu that contains those predefined filters. In addition I'd suggest that if you open the Q&A page through those direct links the custom filter should not be applied (except the "Ignored" tags)

OK, there is a glitch in the matrix. In the last few days, a lot of submitted articles have been approved of without having a content worth of it ( Check the moderator forum, I am not the only one to think so).
How many people are allowed to approve articles ? I suspect some reputation points harvesting by some users is going on (=with that I mean approving without even checking properly the content).
I have already pointed out in an earlier thread that the rep points requirements for being privileged to moderate publications are too low (should be single based on the status of Author or Authority IMO). I reckon that even I should not be allowed to moderate articles (no Author points, low Authority).
Would it be possible to modify the privileges for limiting the people allowed to approve articles ?
Would it be possible to publish (for editor only) the name of the people approving articles, so that we can debate about their opinion concerning the article content ?
Thanks.
