How do I Find Award winning Articles
|
|
|
|
|
|
Few days back I visited an article,
http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/24611/ASP-NET-Internals-Viewstate-and-Page-Life-Cycle
But today I am not able to see it again and it is deleted

Well, it is strange that you viewed it recently as it was deleted in 2013. There are many reasons an article gets deleted, but the fact it's not there means it's not available for general viewing.

Hi,
Is there any way in CP through which I can download my complete Article along with HTML and related uploaded files.
Thanks

You can get all the HTML by clicking the link titled "Get the article's HTML for editing offline". The uploaded files you have to download separately.

Blundering about I haven't found a FAQ or thread regarding the new Article Editor labeled beta, so here I am.
First, I think it is great! The old one would chew up formatting if you were not careful. One thing/issue is there seems to be no var tag/block button for special words in a sentence. Did I miss it somewhere or are these now frowned upon for some reason.
I know it will handle words in code tags but that seems the long way around.
Thanks, and again, great job on it!

I haven't had a chance to add the var button yet. Feel free to fork the Workspace[^], dig in and add it yourself (if you have the time / inclination).
(and thanks for the feedback!)
cheers

Hi,
I am facing wired problem. Today when I went to my reputation history, and it displays me points I have received as author for the downloads of my articles and that is ok, but if I click on related file it takes me to the below link, which is not my article. Apart from that I have observed that my articles download reduced drastically in last couple of days. Please have a look and let me know if you need further information.

I can see a 5 star rating (1 vote) adjacent to my article. How can I know who has voted for me?

If it's a 5 or a 4 vote, there's no guaranteed way of knowing who voted it 5. A vote of 3 or lower requires a comment.

I'm sorry, but you have asked your question in completely the wrong location. This forum is intended for people who need help writing articles for CodeProject. Your question has nothing to do with this.

Open the article you want add an alternative to. On the left side menu there is a item 'Add your own...' (just above Share) - go with it!
I'm not questioning your powers of observation; I'm merely remarking upon the paradox of asking a masked man who he is. (V)

Thats the problem, that creates a NEW article. The alternative is an EXISTING article, I just want to link the two.

I see... If it's an already published article, than only the hamsters can do that... But hamsters are now!

Thought that feature was missing, wanted to check in case I was missing something.
hamsters are always sleeping...

If I understand your question correctly, the only way to make your existing tip an alternative would be to delete it, then post it as an alternative to the new tip. Or I guess you could "repost" it as an alternative so there was essentially a duplicate post while I was looking the other way and obscuring my vision with my hand (no peeking).
I do not have the power to turn existing tips into alternatives. Perhaps no man does.

Ok, I think it needs to be added as a feature request!
I would do it, but the bugs and sugs workspace appear to fail on me on this corporate IE9 box. (I tried last trip and failed miserably to add something). Maybe do it when I get home in a week or so.
Cheers anyway.
ps. you should wash your mouth out encouraging repost behaviour!

I have forwarded the feature request onto the team
And applied soap to mouth.
