To the best of my knowledge, I have followed all of the instructions in the Managing Your JavaScript Library in ASP.NET page. I get the WebResource.axd scripts on the page when I view source. However, the JavaScript functions in the resource files do not appear to exist. This is what I get when trying to validate that the function is available. TypeValidate is one of the functions in the resource file.
Unhandled exception at line 1, column 1 in eval code
0x800a1391 - JavaScript runtime error: 'TypeValidate' is undefined
Add an alert message to the JavaScript to see if it's being included.
View the resources tab of Chrome developer tools to be sure you see the correct JavaScript in the WebResource.axd. Keep in mind ASP.NET may already be including one of these files by default, so you should be sure to inspect the contents of each of them.
Be sure you have embedded the JavaScript properly (add to project, set build action, add WebResource attribute to a class file).
Keep in mind that VB.NET and C# differ slightly for this step. See #note_vb_users.
