Looking at the source of the SQL Safety post, we have:
<meta name="twitter:site" content="@derekman1" />
<meta name="twitter:creator" content="@derekman1" />
The "derekman" name seems to fit with the CodeProject member "derekman9707".
On Twitter, derekman1[^] has the display name "David Dye", which matches the author name from the Toad World post.
So unless the SQL Safety site has copied both the article and author profile from Toad World, and set up a fake Twitter profile, it looks like it's all the same author.

Thanks for the report, but it's a good idea to post a link to the member http://www.codeproject.com/script/Membership/View.aspx?mid=11077807[^] as well as his crime. That way if the message disappears first, the member can still be identified and smacked with the ban hammer!
Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...

Ok we don't... but it could be true for the spammer, depending on how strong the hit is

It smells a little rancid to me. Though he is asking how it's done, the highlight to draw attention to the appname is suspicious.

I see it suspicious as well, and the image in the profile... it seems a bit too "nice" all together.

this user[^]
His main username is fine - it's twitter style @name thingie that is at issue.
So far all he has contributed is the word "miaow" to a surver forum.
