I am still struggling with this problem. Here is the error:
dj9okeyxktdvd.cloudfront.net uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is not trusted. (Error code: sec_error_untrusted_issuer)
I have no idea what and how to modify it so that I do not need to add security exceptions every day.

I've found the issue: we were actually requesting the emoticons as SSL. I've turned this off.

For some reason there's no New message button for blog entries in message queue. Currently this prevents explaining why the blog hasn't been accepted.
For example I reported this[^] plagiarized because of inadequate references for the pictures, but I can't explain it to the author...

I may be missing something but I don't see job listings anywhere on the site...millions of devs here and no one is advertising job openings? Can we add a job posting area to the forums? Or am I just blind and it already exists in some form?
Now that I'm involved in technical interviews/hiring I've scanned resume after resume rife with typos and lacking relevant experience. I'm starting to take on the job of HR myself to try to get a decent candidate to follow me as lead developer. I was hoping Code Project could help. Thanks.

As far as I can see, solutions are currently sorted in descending order of "score", based on votes.
Solutions with a score of 1 or 2 are currently shown above solutions with no votes.
This seems wrong to me. If the solution is down-voted, it's actively been marked as not useful. If it hasn't received any votes, then it's still neutral, and should be sorted between those with scores of 2 and 3.

Gotcha.
The list of related articles is shown at the bottom and only visible once you scroll to the bottom. This is by design.

Just an unfinished idea. What if it could be possible to provide a translation to an article/tip/...
I admit, this wouldn't be a simple thing but if certain requirements would be met, then it perhaps would be feasible. With requirements I mean things like:
- Ability to check that the translation is correct enough (native moderators would be needed)
- English version would be the first one, always
- Changes on the original would be informed to moderators (voluntary list of persons per article???)
- Votes go to the original article
- Comments in English and go to the original and so on...
It would be a great idea, wouldn't it? Considerable? In very distant future? No? Never?

In my opinion that could be a good idea, but a bit of pandora box on the same time.
It is already enough work moderating all together the english articles. With more languages the efford to moderate would be bigger, since not all could have a look to that proposal of translation.

That is definitely true. Most likely there is not enough resources to do this and even if there would be, only a minor portion of the articles would be translated. Most likely the moderators should be CP users in order to get enough workforce to the process.
On the other hand perhaps if translations were available (to some extent) a new type of users would be introduced to CP. Who knows...
Just waiting for Chris to confirm the Never option

That's for sure. If I volunteer to help translating or moderating some articles in spanish I would do it only with the articles that I think they deserve it.

Do you want "dame código" instead of "gimme codez" or "muy urgente" instead of "very urgent"?

I would love it. Absolutely love it.
We tried it on CodeGuru back in 1996 (Oh man now I feel painfully old) and it took - sort of - but there was a fairly constant issue of articles getting out of date.
Regardless, if there are volunteers then I'd absolutely love to have a crack at it.

I volunteer; Dutch is my native language so I could moderate Dutch translations of articles.

Well, I'd like to give it a try and translate at least some articles to Finnish.
Can you already imagine the 5M potential readers (infants included)
Anyhow, I think that this would be almost like an alternative but all the downloads, pictures etc should come directly from the original article. In my opinion the translation should cover only the text, rest would come from original. I know there are lots of pictures in english but still this would keep things a bit simpler.

Recently a user was spotted with a lot of articles and tips (over 50) where at least 5 were plagiarized. The search for more is still active.
I saved the list of the articles just in case, to check with calm in other moment.
The point is, I wanted to post the list, but the friendly URL for that user (i guess it is because the user has been nuked) is pointing to my article's list, when I click on the preview or paste it directly in browser.

Is pointing to my article for you as well? or do you land in your own list?
On the other hand... is that a bug?
I know (and I already used it) about the CP-Search with [ author: "Niladri_Biswas" ]

It landed on my own tips and articles respectively.
P.s. I was really tempted to say that it landed on your list but it was empty, but that would've been a bad joke
