I'm not even sure how to proceed with 1000 files!
Is there an option in the software you use to generate relative links within the documents? If so then we can probably just upload the entire zip, crack it open and have the files sit inside the article's download directory.
If the Sandcastle docs were produced as a single-page application that would be brilliant - then we could simply frame it inside a tab on the article (but I know I'm probably dreaming here).

Chris,
I can send it all as one file with .mht extension. The MHT file is only 243KB long. Unfortunately the article update upload feature will not accept .mht files. If it would, I can upload it and set a link to this file and I think it will all work out. Like anything else in programming until you try it you cannot be sure.
Can you help me try it out?

Uzi, how about generating a .chm instead of a website?

I can produce .chm file. It is 768KB long.
How can I include this file with the article?

Just .zip it and upload it as part of the article.

My original question was, is it possible to view the help pages on line. It is obvious that I can include it in one format or another within a downloadable file.

Yes, I know.
I attempted to answer your question "How can I include this file with the article?".

Chris,
Please note my answer from Mov 22.
Are you interested in adding documentation?
Thanks,

I hope you recovered from yesterday's events.

I originally used the wrong account (David-Cunningham instead of DavidCunningham) so I updated the post.
Can you please forward me the email? I'm guessing it's sent the link with the "www.codeproject.com" bit missing.

Hello, I opted in into some CP newsletters, and other than incrementing my rep points I saw that my Visitor points dropped by 100 points, all with no event in the rep log.
Is that a bug or a feature?

Let say there is an article with 58 votes and 4.88 rating. I am voting this article with 5 stars. When I click to five star it looks there are 59 votes and the rating is updated as expected. But when I refresh the page my vote is gone. Again, there are 58 votes and old rating.
What Am I missing?

Caching. The servers don't all get updated immediately.

Is there any "default licence" for source code if licence was not defined by author?
I've used some code from a very old article (over then 10 years) and there is no licence defined:
"This article has no explicit license attached to it but may contain usage terms in the article text or the download files themselves. If in doubt please contact the author via the discussion board below."
The last message from author was in december 2007.
And now our release is blocked because of missing licence

Unfortunately there is no default license. This is why we push so hard to ensure everyone has adequately licensed their code.
Which article? I can try contacting the owner.

In the home page of CP, at the upper right corner is the "Our Community" block where the newest post of the Lounge, the insider news and so on are listed.
I guess this will only happen with the lounge, because of the high posting rate. If the starting message of a thread is not in the first page of the loung anymore, clicking on the link in "our community" brings you to the first page of the lounge without a selected message (it seems as it would have been deleted). If you go to the next page(s), then it moves you to the expanded message in question when you reach the page where that thread is. I have seen this behaviour with messages up to page 4 (there usually are new threads incoming, so the "our community gets updated)
Not so important.

If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about?
Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you
Rating helpful answers is nice, but saying thanks can be even nicer.
