Two and a half years ago, this user[^] was kicked off the site for asking about writing a virus. After promising not to ask again[^], Chris reinstated his account.

Maybe I'm being paranoid, but writing software which turns off Windows Updates, Windows Firewall, and all Action Centre messages with one click sounds suspiciously like malware to me.

Hi,
An article that was highlighted in the code project newsletter two months ago, and which has become quite popular has suddenly disappeared in a puff of smoke without a trace as far as I can see.
Any take on this? I know that one should not depend on anything being forever but this is ridiculous

He's voting without comment. Then when people challenge him he's often saying, "Hey it's just my opinion & I don't have to justify it". Sometimes he does justify it, sometimes he doesn't. He's occasionally upvoted as well, so I'm not just reporting everything. My guess is he is somebody's sockpuppet with a beef against the voting system and trying to show it as ridiculous. He seems to know that there is a purpose to having a message - he even says "Anything 3 and under needs a comment" in one post, yet he tries to circumvent it.

This user[^] started out OK, but since 26th February 2013, every single message[^] he has posted has contained (broken) links to his web design company and his blog.
His article[^] also contains the same (broken) links.

Well, nice catch. Such signatures are acceptable if its his 'own work' (Now,its a whole new topic how to define 'own' here). We spotted a large list of users with such signatures in past.

This article[^] and the sequel[^] are tagged as C++, Windows where they should be tagged at least "PHP". Also the article is composed of a brief explanation of the scalability issue followed, in the second part, by the proposal of third party software and the general tone of the article resembles advertising rather than a technical article.
I'm writing here instead of reporting or downvoting because I'm quite new in the community and I don't know how this kind of situations are normally treated.

There are tons of blog here which seem more like site driving or advertising. But, they are not posted ones, they are automatically getting polled by CP.
Further, there are too many arguments open on to which level,this should be tolerated. I would suggest you to wait for some time.
