Hi Joaquín,
I had the same problem some time ago

I've been trying to find a program to write Karaoke disks. It seems that no one has yet cracked the code for this! It's a Red Book format, but it uses empty spaces on the disk to store snippets of text and timing information. Has anybody here worked on duplicating the format with a standard CD-RW drive?
I know Karaoke is tacky, but it's fun to watch their faces when I substitute new lyrics. It would be even better if they could all sing along

Hi!
I've developed a shell extension which allows you to browse you linux ext2 partition from windows. I'll probably release it as freeware sometime in the future, but right now I need a few beta testers.
send a e-mail to olowo726@student.liu.se if you are interested.

|
|
|
I'd say you probably have to release it as free software (i.e. GPL) since it's more than probable you implemented it using ext2 source code, no?

I'll test it for you. If you look in the OS board I've just asked if there is any software to do exactly this.;)

Hi,
I've started to work on a project that aims at providing docking support to WTL applications. Although I have now quite encouraging results, I did not realize what it would take to actually write something like this from scratch.
Therefore, if anyone is working with WTL, ATL and Win32 GDI and is willing to help, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Cheers.
Maxime.

The easiest way (to test and implement) is to place allof your resources into into DLLs and then create copies of the DLL for each language (named appropriately). Then use LoadLibrary to load each language DLL at runtime, depedning on what language the user chooses or what language theri system uses.

Can you be more specific, what do you mean with 'Open Source COM utility'.

Below are some very broad questions, but I'd appreciate any anecdotal or statistical information that anyone has to offer.
Thanks.
Gordon Peery
How long does it take to find a bug?
How long does it take to fix a bug?
How many lines of code are there in an application/project?
How many bugs are there for a given number of lines of code (ie 5 bugs
for every 1000 lines)?
How many lines of code does a developer write a day?
|
|
|
|
|
> How long does it take to find a bug?
Some bugs are never found.
> How long does it take to fix a bug?
Some bugs are never fixed.
> How many lines of code are there in an application/project?
How many atoms in a glass of water. (That depends on how full the glass is)
> How many bugs are there for a given number of lines of code (ie 5 bugs for every 1000 lines)?
How impure is the water ? Depends on the filtering process.
> How many lines of code does a developer write a day?
You can fill a glass quickly if you don't filter it first.
In effect your question is:
How long is a piece of string ?
Answer:
Every piece of string is different !
Yikes !
