It is fixed for the group I linked, but some messages are still lost in the Moderators' Forum and Mentors' Forum.

Lounge sticky post: I didn't delete it this time, honest!
Loads of QA questions and answers: The "unanswered" list goes
38 mins ago
20-Jan-15
... And the "New" list is similarly truncated.
Tell me you didn't use that spammer "packers and movers" company that keeps trying to advertise that they leave stuff behind?
Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...

They left a box of messages behind one of the trucks. Found them. They are a bit damp though due to the rain.

ToDoList[^] seems to have lost the first 5 months of comments.
FWIW this manifested immediately after cancelling a article edit by 'Reverting to the last published version'.

Might be related to the move (some things seem to be out of whack right now)
What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?
The metaphorical solid rear-end expulsions have impacted the metaphorical motorized bladed rotating air movement mechanism.
Do questions with multiple question marks annoy you???

All fixed.
We need to do a general re-caching of the forums. but in the meantime if there is a forum that looks odd just post the URL and I'll kick.

Every time I try to upload a profile picture I get the following message:
Quote: Something bad happened
We're not sure what, but we have a few guesses.
Problem: Illegal characters in path.

Known problem or just an ugly picture?

Could be related to the recent Gravatar addition.

There are only 10 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who don't.

Facing similar problem. I tried to upload from two different browsers but no luck:
Something bad happened
We are not sure what, but we have a few guesses.
Problem: Illegal characters in path.
Ticket: 0
Server: Web04
Steps to reproduce:
1) Uncheck the Use my Gravatar checkbox.
2) Click on "Choose file" and select a .jpg file C:\image.jpg in the pop up dialog box.
3) Click on "Save my Settings" button and the above error pops up.

|
|

Now I got it working by first unchecking "Use my Gravatar" then saving settings followed by "Choose file" and saving settings again.

This workaround worked for me.. Thanks!!
However, the bug is still there..

The "clear all" button the notification page doesn't seem to work lately (different browsers and different machines). There's still that popup and some waiting, but then the page reloads and nothing happened.
Selecting all items and hitting "clear selected" does work.

Can you please try again? I'm suspecting it was a timeout issue. We've tweaked things slightly (ie moved to completely new hardware, OS and SQL version) so it may be a little more cooperative now.

The notification should have a link in it for you to click. This will send a reconfirmation email to you.
I've sent a reconfirmation email to you. Just click the link in the email and you're good to go.

I couldn't able to update one of the image from the article RESTful SignalR Service[^] even if I delete and upload it with the new one but same name. It still holds the old image file name and content. To resolve the issue, I just delete the existing image and upload the new one with different name. This works but I don't like the solution since the new image is not shown in the article revisions due to the new name.

I tried again and seems fixed one. Must be some caching issue.

I've been trying to find Dalek Dave's tale about British Gas from 2009. Eventually, I got the partial thread title "I have that beaten".
Searching messages throws up a link "http://www.codeproject.com/Messages/3196969/I-have-that-beaten.aspx[^] but clicking it, or pasting it, retrieves the first Lounge page, always.

I can view it perfectly fine. Firefox on Windows 8.1 Update 1 x64.
Might have been a load issue.

So can I - today Somebody must have forgotten to feed the hamsters. It's weird that it happened in three different browsers, yet today it's fine - and I've touched neither the browser nor the system settings in between. Thanks for checking.
