Yeah, I hate the fiddling needed to use those elephanting compute like it's 1989 CLI driven platforms too. Having to use a crappy editor like eclipse or sublime instead of VS to do my coding in only ads another layer of suckage.

In another blow to the plight of achieving diversity in tech, Chinese startups have apparently started hiring “programming cheerleaders” to spur on their mostly-male developer workforce. From general chit-chat to ping-pong, the practice is catching on. "Oh Mickey, you're so fine"
Please, someone tell me this is a hoax.

Cue the Fish Cheer!
Actually, I did find that playing ping pong with a female asian colleague -- a talented developer, not just a pretty face -- was good for my motivation. Maybe these "cheerleaders" could be trained to do code reviews?

That's just wrong on so many levels. We need less sexism, not more. Then again, this is Asia where you can get away with a lot that would never fly here in the US.
This seems like something I would find on The Onion - unfortunately it doesn't seem to be a joke.

Quote: Beginning September 1, 2015, Amazon no longer accepts Flash ads on Amazon.com, AAP, and various IAB standard placements across owned and operated domains.
One more nail in the coffin. It's not the numerous small sites video player replacement that is the only thing standing between my current click to play status and removing it from my primary browsers; but one of the bigger desktop ad buyers forcing HTML5 use will probably be a hard shove to reduce the number of industries still using flash down by one.

Considering the widespread usage of plugin as FlashBlock, that prevent the loading of many ads altogether, I'd say it was already counter-productive for investors to use Flash based ads.

You must know... that this was written in a different language and auto-translated? Not only are many of the facts wrong but the grammar and style is terrible!

I've seen so much badly written text on the net that any auto-translate errors didn't register; in the midst of recoiling over all the other fail in it.

According to a study done by Brandwatch, which measured the response to Windows 10 on social media, the number of people who love Windows 10 far outnumbers those who hate it. Survey of 1000 users in Redmond, Washington.
