If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about?
Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you

I just let through a message that I normally would have nuked.
But since it's been posted in the press releases forum (by a member with a load of articles that it would be a pity to lose) I've let it through.
Here's [^]the message.
What's your take?
Nuking the user is out of the question as far as I'm concerned.

Press releases is a big difficult for me to say where are the limits. I would ask @Sean-ewington or @Chris-maunder for that one

Press releases are intended to discuss stuff that's newsworthy. That press release was, unfortunately, an advertisement. This article[^] sums it up nicely.

Ok, so next time I'll follow my gut feeling.
But I have a follow up question.
In the old times, or actually quite recently, if you nuked a message the user got nuked with it.
I know that's not the case anymore, but is the user getting any kind of reports at all any more?
Because that was actually my main reason for not reporting it as spam.

Nuking a message no longer nukes the author.
However, you can also just email us and ask us to quietly remove a post.

No, the user doesn't get a report. They're just left wondering what happened.

Don't forget the junk message[^] that made it through the filter.
"These people looked deep within my soul and assigned me a number based on the order in which I joined."
