Where the [REDACTED] parts is the name of a common anti-virus manufacturer with a Scottish sounding name.

And this is his first post.
So (ignoring the poor grammar, syntax, and spelling) I think this is clearly Spam or Spam set up and sent it to the recycler. Your opinions?

Do NOT delete Spam Messages after flagging them as Spam.
Unless the message is deleted by getting the required number of abuse/spam votes, its content is NOT added to the Spam Filter's data.
As a result, new messages with the same content will not be caught.
If I remember correctly, once the member has messages marked as Spam, the account gets marked as Spam.

My apologies: I was doing "tag-and-delete" on unmoderated posts to remove the visible spam as soon as possible (and thus reduce the chances that we are seen as a good target). I will stop forthwith!

The concept is that new Spam should be voted on by multiple members to prevent nuking marginal messages. Some Spam is subjective.
HOWEVER, blatant racism, abuse, or hate mongering SHOULD be terminated quickly, so if you doesn't get the required votes in short order, nuke it add a "message nuked" message with message and member details so we can ensure its content is added to the Spam Filter and the appropriate chastisement is applied to the poster.

How about a post here with the usual details, including a link marked "deleted item"?
I know you monitor here when you are in the office.
So if it's a "delete immediately" type message we prefix the subject with "DELETED" or similar so they are easy for staff to spot and post the user and message link so you can retrieve it from the history?

Does this mean that also finally "no Protectors" can see the spam and decide on our own mind whether it was spam or not?

Does that mean you actually delete rather than the more sane technique of simply marking as deleted? You guys need may need to rethink.

We mark as deleted.
The issue is that we need messages to get a certain number of "span" voted before we're willing to say it's spam. If a message is below the spam threshold and then marked as deleted it'll never get the chance to go over the threshold. Our system simply won't get a chance to consider it as spam
