Aside from there being no entries in any vital sign component (0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0), under "No Biography provided", there's also no:
"Your CodeProject profile in your Blog" ... etc like here:
http://www.codeproject.com/script/Membership/View.aspx?mid=660010[^]
While someone's busy deleting the spammer, could they also take a look at my profile and delete this smudge under "No Biography Provided" please. From under there all the way down to the last bullet "Reputation = total reputation points" would be nice.
Thank-you.

I get the issue with no edit bar nor emoticons on Firefox on my iPad. Could an admin look into that?
What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?
The metaphorical solid rear-end expulsions have impacted the metaphorical motorized bladed rotating air movement mechanism.
Do questions with multiple question marks annoy you???

Ah - the FireFox version that no longer uses Gecko.
It's a sad, sad day.
(Fixed, but will need to wait for full testing later today and then deploy)

If you search for "*" in the .NET Framework forum, the second result is a Korean spam message that was deleted last week:

I can understand the results being cached for a while, but six days seems a bit excessive!

I was avoiding that so the hamsters could hopefully see what kept it alive!

A lot seems to depend on what people actually voted on it - so if there were sufficient different votes, it would show 13 votes but they aren't all necessarily 13 plagiarize votes.

What is the new "Popular" star on the posts, I mean, what is the algorithm for that (Maths free, please! )... I think 7 up-votes count.
Also, Chris, I think that your profile and the blog under it can be a good place to broadcast any new features. When I wanted to get to know of this "Popular" thing, I visited your profile page, didn't find so I thought I may ask the question and provide a suggestion here.
May help others to find out new features on the blog, in a much friendly way.

You mean on Quick Answers? It means something with a rating over 4.5.
The reason there's no blog post on it is because it's been there over 5 years!

No, no, no, no... I am aware of that one. I have seen that on many of my answers.
I am talking about the one that is on the forum messages. I am sure that hasn't been around since 5 years. Say, like this message of mine, http://www.codeproject.com/Messages/4881434/So-you-mean-to-say.aspx[^], has a star with it, right next to the subject. That came up recently.

I'm with you. I think Chris is playing a practical joke. I noticed the star recently on a Lounge post and couldn't remember having seen it before. Maybe it's just a very rare occurrence.

An update:
I know I said the popular star has been around forever. However, I realised it just never worked properly. We made a change a few weeks ago that corrected a caching issue that was holding us back from being able to determine popularity for messages in the forums.

Which now reminds me of a popular saying in software engineering, which goes something like, "The bugs made in the early stages of development are the ones to be discovered in the last stages"...

It's showing now; probably caching in your browser.

The votes don't show on the article for me, but they are showing on the article list.
