I did, twice.
Now I more or less like my job, though the salary s*cks... .
I would change for something non-IT, but have no clue what (and how to get there since I have an IT degree and no time to get something else)

I'm craftsman, occasionally artisan, but I'm not even near to dub myself artist.
As customers' specs are becoming more and more bizarre, quirky and oxymoronic I more and more feel like manual labourer.

Arts and crafts are not the same thing. Any crap can be labelled "art".

Have you tried telling this to so-called-artists?

One of my favourite pass-times
If any child can do it, it is not art, it is simply called "a mess". Now go and clean your mess up.

Art is an expression of creativity (hopefully a good one). Best if others can share in it.
Don't let the term be hijacked by chiselers, painters, photographers, musicians, writers, etc. I'm not even blaming the aforementioned for the illegitimate co-opting of the term to feed a few egos by a pretense of exclusivity.

I've got a permanent red spot on my forehead from palm to face action brought on by uSoft.

This survey got me frustrated ...
now I cannot work anymore
It is indeed multiple choice
- money,
- create something hopefully useful for others
- joy

"Pretend" your schizophrenic - you'll feel better about it immediately.

I actually had it multiple choice but did it single choice to force the issue.
I'll run it again soon as a multiple choice. I worry there'll be lots of "all" answers. Maybe that's not a bad thing.
Actually: maybe we should split this. I rerun this from Wed onwards and see what multiple choice does for the results.
cheers
