Missing Reddit...it's not really that much of a social network, more like the next generation of Usenet or something like that. I subscribe to some tech related groups on Reddit, anyway.
Code Project should sort of be on there too, no?...lots of socializing happening here
I nuked my Facebook and Twitter accounts, don't really want to be part of that club.

I guess I REALLY don't do Social Media.
But I have not seen/used:
- Instagram, Meetup, Pinterest, Xing
I don't install apps on my phone that want access to contacts, or to photos, or to the camera, or the microphone. I've turned off location services. And my WiFi is set to NON Promiscuous mode (trying not to connect to unknown WiFi networks).
I also keep my blue tooth turned off unless I am in my car. And I would actually prefer a cable connection, to be honest. Sometimes I forget to turn the blue tooth off.
On the downside, an OLD friend died 6 years prior to my learning about it.

The only regular login I do is here on CP.
I have a FB account (created at the very beggining when it was not the current crap) that I use up and a while due to friends of mine ignoring everything except of FB, so if I want to contact them, the fastest is through it. I log in from time to time (5 or 6 times a year), to have a look into the setting and try to keep it so restrictive as possible.
I have a XING account, I almost don't use. But I think I will update it somewhere in near future. Because I got my current job, due to a XING-Contact of a previous co-worker and friend of mine.

All the 20th century dystopian stories assumed the populace would have to bullied (1984, Fahrenheit 451) or drugged (Brave New World, Men in Black) to submit.
No one ever dreamed that they would rush headlong into it, panting to be taken on board ...

I have a linkedin account I keep just in case I lose my job, but I have no interest in it nor any other social website.
Besides CP, I do comment on YouTube a lot, but that's about it.

Given the number of votes for CodeProject lounges as social media, and since I was also going to write the same message here... I think, it's time to officially declare CodeProject as a Social Media network (for programmers of course)!

Yes this is so true atleast for us, I used to end up here more compare to any other platform.

Except Pinterest and Xing. Although I use Google+ rarely (one or two logins a week), same with Instagram. During "working" hours I only use CodeProject though.

Yeah, mostly because it's like: log in, check stuff around for 3 minutes, log out. Now thinking about it, I don't really engage in those sites, more like I briefly lurk them.
