My wife added me as co-author in couple of her articles. The role for me particularly will be to explain coding part ( mainly C#).
But,
1) After adding co-author and 'save this version', the articles are not reflected in my profile. I used her username and password to open her account in Microsoft Edge and redit ( not very efficient and 'ethical' either).
2) After adding me as Co-Author, My name always appears first. I think, authors must be able to decide the order in which the name appears. Because, if her contribution is more, she must be the first author.
Can somebody fix this issue ( or bug?)
PS
As she is almost a beginner, she feels that I have done some settings for my name to appear first

Forsooth, I was in the midst of editing a QA response when the power went out; it came back on within ten seconds. Not unusual here.
I was happy to see Visual Studio did contain the latest edited code I was working with.
But, I was surprised that re-opening Chrome got me back to the QA forum with the solution editor open to my post, and only the last small edit missing.
Congratulations !

Somewhere midday, today (01/08) I stopped receiving email notifications... Checkboxes seem in order...
Skipper: We'll fix it.
Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?
Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.

Is this still happening? Have you done the usual like check your spam folder? Your account looks fine from what I can see.

Yes. It is still NOT happening... No notifications and no CP mails in spam folder...

At the bottom of the message posting dialog is a checkbox "E-mail me if someone replies to this message". This was turned off for you. I've turned it back on for this email. Let me know if you get a notification for this.

Yes. It solved the problem... Thank you!
It tells me two things:
1. Somehow the on Forums/Default Pos options got cleared...
2. There some logical inconsistency between 'Send me an e-mail if someone replies to the message' and 'Enable general forum notification emails'...
Skipper: We'll fix it.
Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?
Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.

Just for completeness...I do receive other CP emails, like Daily News...
Skipper: We'll fix it.

Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.

The forum voting system is a little different (read: older and simpler) than the main voting/reporting system. For forum messages simply revote the message (ie 1 to 5) and it will clear your old vote.

Searching really needs to be improved. I'm looking for articles related to using the Flux application architecture with C#. If I search for "flux" I get a deluge of JavaScript articles with no way to filter them out. If I search for "flux C#" or "flux and C#" I get a deluge of any and all articles mentioning C#, whether flux is mentioned or not. Apparently the "and" search term operator works just like "or"--and so it is no help at all.

strange. when I search for "flux and c#" and "everything" checked, I get only 65 items returned. 28 if you only include Articles, Blogs, and Tips.
Could you retry your search

In current scenario user just get message that article is not well reference and etc.
1) Provide the detailed plagiarism information related to article to the user that which contents of its article is found plagiarized.
Doing so user will be aware if the said contents were used unintentionally and/or he is not aware of the plagiarism policy.
2) Provide a mechanism, So that Every Article must go through Plagiarism check before they actually published.
All the composed article should forward to VIPs of the codeproject so that they can check about the plagiarism and tell the user if they found.
If this mechanism is provided then none of the user will kicked out who unintentionally posted plagiarized article because Quality and Plagiarism check would be done by Our Code Project's VIPs.
I hope that VIPs will consider my suggestions.

Plagiarism on this site causes a lot of work for moderators who are doing this voluntarily. If authors are not applying simple principles of honesty and ethical behaviour they only have themselves to blame if they are ejected without ceremony.
There is no such thing as accidental plagiarism.
