I want to create a toggle switch where the user has the choice of Purchase or Delivery. I've seen the Yes/No and True/False type of toggle switches but has anyone seen or have a way of creating a toggle switch with a that many letters.

In a web form 2010 application, I am creating letters that need to be sent to various customers that are generated in html and are sent to 2 or 3 customers at the at different addresses. However each letter needs to be the same. The only difference is the mailing address. Thus I need each letter to be generated on separate pages. Thus I would like to know what html command can be used to made certain each letter is printed on separate pages. Thus can you tell me what the command would be?

You can use CSS Page-break-after Property[^]. However, I would recommend using a pdf writer or pdf sdk like iTextSharp instead. You'll have more control.

PS. I also upvoted this since I noticed 2 people downvoted it. Not sure why they would do that.

It seem like you've not even googled the slightest info available to you but this should help.
If your web app is reatricted to your country then search for an sms campany that offers this service at a cheap and steady rate, they will provide an api to allow you work with your app platform, java, asp.net, perl etc as the case may be.
Follow the provided samples and integrate with your app.
If its an international target then look for a company that can serve you well with speed and server uptime.

For the life of me I can't understand why my grid won't populate. I'm sending my data from the controller to the view but the grid is always blank.
public JsonResult PopulateGrid()
{
var x = (from n in dbContext1.GetOrders("Melody Devoe") select n);
List<string> items = new List<string>();
foreach (var item in x)
{
items.Add(item.ToString());
}
return Json(items.ToList(), JsonRequestBehavior.AllowGet);
}
Here's the cshtml
<pre lang="HTML"><div class="a">
@(Html.Kendo().Grid<CentralBilling.Models.GetOrders_Result>()
.Name("gridRater")
.DataSource(datasource => datasource
.Ajax()
.Read(read => read.Action("Customers_Read", "Home")))
.Columns(columns =>
{
columns.Bound(o => o.Order_Number);
columns.Bound(o => o.ActDate);
//columns.Bound(o => o.Agent_Role);
//columns.Bound(o => o.aom_shipment_type);
//columns.Bound(o => o.Delay);
//columns.Bound(o => o.DeadlineDist);
//columns.Bound(o => o.DistStatus);
//columns.Bound(o => o.SubmitDate);
//columns.Bound(o => o.LastAct);
//columns.Bound(o => o.LastComment);
})
.Sortable()
.Scrollable()
.Filterable()
.Selectable()
)
</div>

There might be someone here who knows Kendo UI controls, but I believe you stand a better chance on getting answers by posting it to dedicated forums: Kendo UI Forums - Telerik Community[^]

I have a yes/no toggle input switch below:
<input class="checked-switch" id="lookup" name="lookup" type="checkbox"/>
and I'm not sure what value to put for it when insert that value into a sql table. Here is my insert statement:
sql = "INSERT INTO CONTRACTOR (CAGE_CODE_EXIST,_ADDRESS1, PRIME_CONTRACTOR_ADDRESS2, CONTRACTOR_CITY, CONTRACTOR_STATE, CONTRACTOR_POSTAL_CODE) " +
"VALUES ('" + lookup.Checked. + "', '" + addr1.Text + "','" + addr2.Text + "', '" + city.Text + "','" + state.Text + "','" + postalcode.Text + "');";
the lookup.Checked doesn't seem to work so what can I put in for the toggle switch?

Just store whatever value it is. It's just a checkbox right? So you can store "checked" and "unchecked." You could store 1 and 0 or true and false. Whatever you want.
And fix the sql injection issues too.

Any ideas on asp.net project... Its my final year and i am really confused...
|
|
|
|

There are many ideas that you can use to get a subject for your final year project. In ASP.NET, you can select to create a Web API solution to provide solutions to cross-platform devices, Android, Windows Phone and other similar devices. You can also show your teachers how you managed the HTTP communication, in which data-interchange language (XML or JSON) and other similar stuff.
But final steps are onto you, you have to build the project and that is why you should consider your own final year project based on your own skill sets so that you can present the projects too.

Then why not choose something that you are not confused about? But if you are determined to use ASP.NET then go to https://www.asp.net/[^] where you will find lots of help.
